lol.
you're in the "he declassified with his mind" camp?
again, there's no indication he declassified anything, his team, when pressed, chose not to present any evidence he did so. AND, as indicated, it doesn't change whether he's allowed to keep the records. and there would be no way for NARA or the DOJ or any agency to know he declassified anything without any evidence he did so. oh, and when you declassify, it goes into public record.......via NARA.......
and of course, you thought that trump could just claim the classified records were PRIVATE, because clinton designated records that were never classified as private. are you still confused on this point? (It’s you changing the narrative as the walls close in)……
not only that but he couldnt even find a single lawyer or anybody down the chain of command willing to swear off on that kind of argument to his very own special master he fought for and personally selected, upon request for any evidence at all that would suggest that any of the classified documents that were recovered had actually been declassified. he cant seem to find anybody who is willing to make that as a legal argument for him, and swear to it just to help his own cause. it clearly never happened, and the DOJ will surely hang him out to dry if he tries to make that kind of jedi mind tricks legal defense without having any evidence or testimony from anyone indicating that he declassified all of those materials.
you see, the thing is that if they find documents that are clearly marked as classified, they are lawfully going to treat those documents as still being classified until somebody down the chain of command with the proper clearance comes along and can prove that they had actually been declassified. poor donnie though, nobody is going to bat for him when it matters. nobody wants to do the right thing. the whole world is out to get him! brb gotta declassify something in my head.
there we go, thats better. anyways yeah, saying youre the president of the united states and can do whatever you want sounds cool to the chuds when tucker and the gang tell them that outside of a courtroom in order to downplay their orange messiah's criminal actions. unfortunately that kind of argument won't hold water in a court of law.
you see, they found classified documents inside of his house. property that belonged to the government. property he was not allowed to possess. property he refused to return, and even lied to the feds about having on premesis. they were clearly classified. if Mr. If You Plead The Fifth You're Guilty even tries to make the argument that those documents had actually been declassified, the first thing they are going to demand is to show evidence of his claims.
and you see, donald trump for some reason has a problem bringing evidence with him into a courtroom to support any of the outrageous claims he makes to the public all over social media, which are surely not just a bunch more of his lies and bullshit as usual. and after he gets indicted, if he tries to make this kind of legal argument in his defense that those classified documents had actually been declassified and this was all just some kind of misunderstanding, he's going to have to show proof and have people testify for him on the stand to actually support that. he doesnt have anybody willing to put their necks on the line now when its only going to save his own bacon. he's going to be proper fucked after he gets indicted if he still has nothing to show on that matter.
without getting hung out to dry and losing his criminal case in just one afternoon, he won't be able to say "Sorry, i forgot to bring all the evidence of declassification with me. I'll bring it next week after i'm done releasing my health care plan, tax returns, and evidence of election fraud. i swear this time. i mean it. pinky promise! you see your honor, the evidence of declassification has been coming in so fast that we can hardly keep up. my crackhead pillow selling buddy still needs to finish going through all of it. now lets move on to hunters laptop and hillaries emails. we'll talk about the rest of this matter later. "
saying you could have declassified the documents just because you had the authority to do so at one time does not at all indicate that you had ever gone ahead and actually declassified any of that material that they found inside of your residence that was marked as classified.
its like saying i can shit my pants right now at this very moment just by thinking about it, because i just ate taco bell and i can shit myself any time and anywhere that i want to because i'm simply just the perfect specimen of health and i'll take a shit wherever i want. sure, perhaps i could very well shit my pants just by thinking about it , but that doesnt help me make the case at all that i actually did it. especially after the feds raid me a few seconds after. i would have an impossible time convincing anybody, let alone a judge or jury that i had actually shit my pants after the underwear they recovered is as clean and fresh as a whistle and there is no trace of evidence around me to indicate feces, and nobody else around me is willing to put themselves on the stand on my defense, or even make a sworn statement to even suggest that they had ever even heard or smelled so much as even a fart coming out of me.
i mean it sounds cool outside of a courtroom. unfortunately for the one-term sperm, talking about waving a magic wand and using jedi mind tricks isnt going to slide very well in a courtroom environment, and if his lawyers are somehow dumb enough to try to rely on something that absurd as their clients defense, it won't take very long for the judge or jury to simply just wave their magic wands and convict their client just by simply thinking about it.
