My favorite part of the Trump phenomenon is that he’s some kind of rebel, refusing to “play ball”. Which is true, if refusing to play ball means he has no respect for our system of government. Those pesky checks and balances, and expectations of basic ethical behavior that aren’t codified and enforced, are for the loser elites. It’s almost like his followers prefer a king to a president.
