The pragmatic solution to Israel/Palestine is to relocate one group. Personally, I'd rather it was the Israelis who got relocated, but that isn't going to happen with the Israel lobby in such a powerful position in the USA.

The important thing is that another 17k innocent children don't get murdered.

Palestinians who would rather stay and watch their kids get blown up are idiots and should be given no consideration.

Take all the money we're giving to Israel this year and instead spend it to provide Palestinian refugees with housing in a country that will take them. Pay the host country off as well if you have to.

Then end all aid to Israel permanently and the rehousing project more than pays for itself.

He's right. There is no possible way for the people in gaza to flourish and be free like ever. That ship sailed. A cease fire and brutal occupation is all they have to look forward to for the foreseeable future. Also a high likelihood that war kicks off again.

Almost everything’s demolished and people are dying there, so I’d rather get involved with some of the Arab nations and build housing in a different location where I think they could maybe live in peace for a change.”

This is the common sense guy people love.
President Trump has good instincts. Unfortunately, he keeps being surrounded by bad advisers who try to get him to embrace the same old failed policies of past administrations. And it’s happening all over again.
Hopefully, that common sense prevails again over the new era of the swamp now clambering into the Department of Defense and the State Department.
