It's in the link. Twitter then writes: “We have investigated the reported content and could not identify any violations of the Twitter Rules.” The link also shows the selective enforcement of it's rules elsewhere.
That's obviously an automated email that was sent by mistake. Seems like your site is desperately clutching to whatever it can to argue from a weak position. It's not very convincing though.
The policies that are deliberately vague and selectively enforced like what I just mentioned. FB caving in to the mob shows it could have stayed up. Heck I even gave you an example earlier where Twitter admitted it didn't break their rules, but still censor it anyway.
Dude, the content clearly broke rules that are designed to protect other users. Facebook had an exception for public leaders to break certain rules based on newsworthiness, but even they are backtracking now because of advertiser boycotts. Twitter stands by their decision, and they are not putting that tweet back up. They don't seem to be afraid of Trump bullying them anymore.
I don't feel bad for you guys at all. Right-wingers seem to love attacking any sort of media figure for having an anti-Trump opinion. How dare the media write unflattering things about an unpopular president!?! Same thing with the first amendment right to protest. All of the sudden the right wing hive mind decided that all protesting is now the same as looting, and their fervent support for the goofball protests to open up shelter in place rules earlier just went right down the old memory hole. And which party has been desperately trying to use laws to restrict free speech on college campuses? And it's certainly not Democrats that were clamoring for NFL owners to fire players that kneel during the national anthem.
See, the right wing doesn't hate tech platforms restricting speech,
you just hate that fact that you're now losing when it comes to restricting other viewpoints from being heard. "Capitalism is great, regulation is evil, and the market will eventually come up with the right solution to the problem" works as a mantra until you get the short end of the stick, and then you immediately turn into a bunch of whiny pissbabies crying about how your rights are being violated.
I still don't see your point. The censorship and bans from tech sector speak for themselves. Reddit even banned other leftists subs including TERFS lol.
Google has a history of being unfair, even sued in some jurisdictions. We can go through them one by one if you want. They own youtube as well which has it's fair share of examples.
I was arguing the fact that it's kind of absurd that this is an MMA forum where you can't condone violence. Almost exactly the same sort of rule that you're busy complaining about here. The reason why is obviously advertisers not wanting their ads to run alongside content that is advocating genocide. Again though, pointy end of capitalism is only bad when it pokes you and your team...
Content moderation is a difficult problem though, and it becomes even more difficult when you have bad faith actors that constantly try to skirt the rules for their own personal gain. LOL at TERFs though, you do know that group is just a thin veneer for promoting hate against transsexuals? People like Trump can always tone down their strongman impressions and their content will probably stay up. Again, the same rules apply to left wingers, but as a group, they don't seem to have as much of a problem with posting hateful content, despite the best efforts of the Fox News outrage factory.
