He's still pretending that foreign countries are paying tariffs rather than American importers and ignoring the fact that most trade with China has completely been shut down.

If Trump says you didn't get laid off from your job, you're still employed.

"The experts" lol. It's exhausting discussing this if you can't even see the point of my post which you replied to. Do you not acknowledge the massive difference between what the White house reported and the truth? Objectively, is there a trade deal or agreement today? Or as you posted, a pause?

You bit off more than you can chew, you won't realize it if you're in the cult.

If I saw a better deal America got from this tariff play I'd praise it. So far all I saw was America trying to be a bully, and then walked it back to change the narrative. That's not how you negotiate, it's how you save face after making a mistake. Luckily, America is a global powerhouse so even when they try and commit seppuku, countries are and must still be willing to make deals.

The entire point of tariffs has changed 3 times in the course of a month, and each time it changed MAGA had to pivot the talking point. It's exhausting trying to discuss this in good faith with someone who can shape-shift because of what Fox news tells you lol
