Problem with this logic is Trump is not in a vacuum. Look at how many people cheer his stupidity and lap up every lie that he says. Ya know the whole feeling that the cruelty is the point. Trump may go away, but the sentiment that drives the bullshit he does is ingrained in this country it seems.

Nevermind that for the past 50 plus years sentiment towards the US has seemingly been declining. What with all the death and destruction the US has caused under the guise of freedom. We went from bullying the world militarily which had some plausible deniability to bullying the worlds economically which comes off as completely self serving.
