Out of every single member of this forum, he definitely defends Trump's idiocy the most. He has gone all in and is too small of a man to ever admit that Trump has ever made a mistake, when the entire world agrees that Trump has the IQ of an 8th grader.

His entire schtik plays out like this every time:

Enter a thread critical about Trump or his clown admin and completely deny that it happened, scream and shout fake news and 'you guys all fell for it again'.

Then when whatever happened is actually proven, he'll obfuscate and say well maybe it's true, but it's not important.

When that's proven wrong, he'll circle back to the same arguments that were already proven false.

And when all else fails, he whips out the big guns. The 4chan chain-mail that he always carries on his hip in case of trouble. The big long list that has been debunked on these here forums countless times. But, comically, he thinks it's his ace in the hole.

He probably doesn't even know how to surf. Sure, he goes down to the beach on the weekends from some inland area, whips out his old man longboard, and flops around out in the ocean. He thinks he's doing well but more than likely struggles even to pop up. Wears a leash with a long board. For me not being a surfer, I sure do own a lot of surfboards and make them go down the face of waves often. Leashes on longboards are acceptable, especially if you are not nose riding or throwing deck tricks. Many amazing longboarders I know wear a leash, because they rip on their long boards with heavy moves like short boards and they do it on big days, so it's warranted. You not knowing that makes you the kook. I'm not a longboarder, except on small days and my 10 footer has no leash.

I own 8 boards that I surf and 1 that is just a decoration due to the memories and the art on the board by my brother Aggy.

Winter surfing is preferred as the waves are better, more consistent, and crowds are smaller. However, some big days can happen in Summer... see the shot from Ruby's below... that was August.


HB is not usually big... but then again... most place aren't, so that's a weird attack. Here is HB on it's biggest day (below) in just over a decade (August 27, 2014) from the end of the pier when Ruby's was still there. That's my son. It's hard to tell from the angle, but those are 30 foot waves. Only 3 dudes paddled out that day due to the frequency and size. A fourth got out, but he was later cited and fined for jumping off the end of the pier to get out... which I should have done and paid the ticket.

How more wrong could you be about virtually everything?

I hate to say it, but one of the most worrisome aspects of the past few months is how fragile democracy is. The slip to autocracy is frightfully cheered on by some. Here's a few highlights:

2017-2021 Presidency:

• Weaponising the justice department against rivals (Clinton, Comey). Was talked down as it would breach DOJ independence.
• Open admiration for authoritarian regimes. Repatedly praised and courted authoritarians, openly celebrating Xi Jinping when he abolished term limits and called it great - and that the US should give that a shot some day.
• Regularly attacked the free press. Fake News. The Enemy of the People.
• Obstructed and undermined checks and balances. Removed inspector generals, instructed officials to ignore congressional subpoenas.
• Openly disputed election integrity. Jan 6.

2025- Presidency:

• Claims of absolute authority: "We are federal law", "long live the king", "He who saves his country does not violate any law".
• Rule by decree. A constant string of executive orders that bypass or outright defy law passed by Congress and constituional limits.
• Purge of Independents. Mass firings of independent inspector generals.
• Weaponising Law Enforcement. Pardoning individuals in Jan 6. Installing loyaists in the FBI, Pentagon and Justice Department.
• Defiance of Judicial Authority and Intimidation of Judges. Defying court orders to use the Alien Enemies Act. Smearing the Chief Justice and who intervened and demanding their impeachment. Threatened judges by declaring them rogue.
• Crackdowns on Dissent, Protest and Minority Groups. Sweeping immigration crackdowns and punitive detentions that trample civil liberties. Increasing stories of foreign academics or other critics being jailed without charges. Scapegoating minorities.
• Suppression of Independent Media. He's barred certain news organisations from press briefings and events.

I could probably go on, but it's not just the overt grab at power but the fact that so many people will cheer it on and defend it. That's what's scary. The second ammendment means nothing when people embrace these changes.

The hardest thing to write? When I see this, it makes sense how other perverted regimes were capable of such intense evil. Their population was okay with it. Your population is okay with it.
