I mean this is clearly dishonest as well. She was selected for those characteristics as VP. The VP role is generally selected to shore up certain demographics that their primary candidate misses and it's not particularly unique to Biden. Biden himself was selected for similar reasons when they ran Obama. Pence was selected for Trump to secure the Republican's Christian base since Trump is a lying adulterer at minimum.

She wasn't selected under the assumption that she would eventually have to run a last minute, shortened national election.

Biden certainly played his role in fucking over the democrats. The last time Kamala participated in a primary she performed incredibly poorly. One of the worst of like a dozen candidates.
