Economy Trump's April 2nd Tariffs

If those nasty Chinese don't remove their tarrifs by tomorrow our tarrifs will just get 10ft taller!
 
Would put China at 104% tariff. Insane. Mass layoffs in many industries type of situation.

Nonetheless fuck anyone who voted for Trump, especially in the primaries because the big one is always going to be a toss up because of bipartidism, but the Republican primaries aren't

Love Bernie, and I agree with him, but the GOP voted against their own bill under Biden that could have effected this a year ago. That being said, its a trick question and nobody should give it any respect: the proper answer is something to the effect "look, i'm not grading this president or his decisions on a curve. [point out his lawlessness and the destruction he's done to this country, its people, its institutions, the US and global economies, its allies and international relationships] and finish off by saying your not going to give him legitimacy by saying he didn't shoot his entire foot off with this decision or that one.

I look forward to seeing how this pans out. If we come out on top, it's certainly worth our while. But we won't know for sometime, and I'm not sure tariffs on countries like Madagascar are beneficial

These two are linked, sale of American cars would skyrocket in Europe if they didn't cost 3 times as much as they do in US. Europe is producing countless regulations specifically designed to benefit France and Germany and suck the joy out of European population. 0 for 0 will be an enormous success that will revitalise American industry.

As for a trade war with China, that's way more important. I'm willing to drive the same car and use the same electronics I have now for the next 5 years if it means that America will stop the race to the bottom in the area of quality of life.

EU tariffs car imports at only 10%, this doesn't make much sense.

Turns out shipping cars across the ocean and an on average smaller sized road network has more to do with it.

All vehicles and gas on average are more expensive in the EU, not just our own.

Markets melting and the White House released an official statement about Dumb Donald winning some golf tournament.

Nero played a fiddle, and Trump played 18 holes. BTW, Sundowning Trumps golf tab already at 30 million and rising.
If Trump does not stroke out from a clogged hamberder Trump should break a 1/4 billion easily for his golf tab.

Once again, I would call Trump 2.0 a clown show, but that is offensive to clowns.
