The customs are 10%, based on the price + shipping, then there's VAT on top of that, so VAT on price + shipping + customs. Then there's road viability testing which is another cost. And then of course there are regulations created because the ruling class absolutely despises the peasants in Europe. So if you want to drive a solid V8 you need to pay the tax man thousands every year.

0 for 0 will be a major success for America, but you are correct in highlighting that EU has a million shady tactics in place to benefit and promote Germany and France.

VAT is a sales tax with another name.

For me I'm not budging on no more gun control and fighting for national Healthcare. I will not vote for these people if they can't meet me where I'm at. I'm sick to death of paying taxes and not getting much in return and I'm also sick to death of my rights being on the chopping block every time a democrat takes office.

So far he's handed over a good chunk of power to a non-elected venture capitalist, failed to broker a deal for Ukraine that isn't literally just giving Putin everything he wants, and has deliberately tanked the US economy by using exorbitant tariffs as a negotiation tool. Will his strategies pay off? Time will tell.

I didn't. I voted for trump as a message to the democrats that I don't like what you are doing and want you to change course. I'm aware that you can't just magic wand away that inflation. I do support tariffs but I do not like the way they are being applied at all and wish that there was a much better plan in place than just randomly throwing them around.
