Because if it was the bill Musk wanted they would do anything to block it including sitting in the floor and screaming.

Also I said it would not get the republican support it would need. You keep ignoring that.
 
See, we wouldn't have gotten any of this parody with a Harris/Walz administration. They would just follow the script and hire people that would follow the script.

Elon has already scaled back his demands to just “take out the bad stuff”

He tried to wreck Trump’s bill while not triggering a response from Trump now you can tell his feelings are hurt because Trump wasn’t having it.

They’ll make up shortly after this passes. I have strong doubts Elon Musk backed MAGA because he thought he was going to turn Trump into some hyper libertarian guy.

So I still believe this was all a maximalist approach to get some concessions but now that Trump has called it out he’s backing down and saying “ok, keep the bill, just take out the bad stuff”

On another note, Elon is tripping if he thinks he won Trump the presidency though.

Trump was killing Biden when Musk endorsed him and Kamalamentum was never legitimate and they admit their own internals never had her with even a prayer of winning. Behind the MOE in almost every swing state save WI and MI.

So, while Trump should show appreciation to all his supporters financial or otherwise. Musk is out of line trying to take credit for his victory.

And Trump is also right that Musk sat behind him smiling when the Big Beautiful Bill came up. Now at the 11th hour he tries to tank it. Tripping.

Elon is on timeout. I doubt he’ll run back to the party that killed his son

It's getting worse by the minute.
Trump wants to de fund Musk and Musk is talking of starting his own political party.

No making up. Musk is going to head in his own direction away from Trump and away from Democrats. He will find a 3rd party to prop up next cycle.

And if it does? I don't see it amounting to much more than a drama molehill that leftists will make into a mountain. Let's say it does get worse and they hate each other from here on out. Musk has already done enough to earn our thanks and neither of them really owe the other anything at this point.

Democrats can't block it. Do you think Democrats like this bill as is? Because they don't.

This has nothing to do with Democrats. There is no reason to bring them up other than blind partisan hackery.
