Law Trump violates federal law, purges IGs in the night

Time to impeach and remove already?

The liberal tears and TDS will be extreme for the next 4 years.

If what he did is not legal ten I'm sure demorats will line up to put a stop to it and reinstate them.

Where are they at.
It's not a matter of "if" it was illegal. It 100% was illegal. Not that Trump or any of the cowards in his party care.

Then I have no problem with the democrats getting a court order to reinstate and making Trump do it the legal way. They are gone and should be but it should be done the legal way.

Yeah I expect a lot of legal action surrounding these hasty/wrongful terminations. Him doing this with the IGs just make it easier for them to build a case around it.

I doubt they'll go for impeachment tho. Not like it'd do anything anyway

The only thing he’s killing is the Constitution and country.
If this really was the reason, Trump should’ve had no issue explaining that to Congress and following the federal laws we have in place regarding these terminations. Purges like this one, and Nixon’s Saturday Night Massacre, are done in the middle of the night for one reason and that is to cover up corruption and criminality.

What we’re seeing now is exactly what we all warned would be coming. Trump already broke federal law regarding his presidential transition, and the pattern of lawbreaking continues. That’s what you get when you elect a convicted felon, I suppose.

Where was this energy when Biden was pushing for unconstitutional vaccine mandates? Attempting to force a potentially dangerous, hardly tested and unnecessary chemicals into people's bodies is a hell of a lot worse than a handful of government bureaucrats getting their walking papers.

Trump is doing what the voters want.

One: if the vaccine was so potentially dangerous and hardly tested, why don’t you guys ever hold Trump responsible for it? Operation Warp Speed happened under his administration, not ours. You wanted to re-elect the guy who brought us such a “dangerous” vaccine?

Two: I opposed the workplace mandate actually, so I did have that “same energy,” as you put it. But even that had exceptions built in, you wouldn’t have had to get the vax if you didn’t want to.

Three: Doing what the voters want? I thought their big issues were economy-related? I thought they didn’t believe we handled inflation well enough or brought prices down. All I heard was how they were willing to put Trump’s shitty character aside because they wanted those sweet economic results. Trump hasn’t said a damn word about the economy, and instead is right back to holding official events at his properties and funneling money into his pockets, launching meme coins, doing unconstitutional things and breaking more laws, firing government workers like the DEI ones and IGs.

I’ll tell you something else that fascinates me. At the time I made this thread, Trump hadn’t said a word about why he purged those IGs. You literally made up a reason, immediately accepted your own made up reason, decided it’s ok, and now no further questions about it will be asked. Psychologists will will probably spend years studying the effect Trump has on you guys. Remarkable.

I think you are blowing the whistle too fast. Wait for the replacements before blowing the whistle here.
For impeachment? I wouldn’t say I’m zealous about it at this point, but I do think congress should be preparing though—which obviously they won’t be because GOP has majorities. But as we all expected, this administration is moving at a breakneck pace with corrupt and illegal actions. If we wait too long it’s going to be very difficult to get him out of there.

He shouldn’t have defied Supreme Court giving out student debt relief, using an agency to force vax and “amending” 28 the amendment. . This is it

I’m not really sure what his agenda is here. If it’s to dismantle the DHS, I’m actually maybe ok with that. After twenty years I’m still not sure what they do for us. At best it seems they waste a lot of money. At worst, they’re spying on us.

I guess I’m open to counterpoints but I really don’t see why they exist. We have the military, the FBI, the CIA, the national guard, a police force. What do they do that those don’t?

The past has shown that impeachment isn't enough. It's not even been a week and he's already moving forward with his Project "I have nothing to do with it" 2025 fascist bullshit. The US is rapidly running out of time to solve this problem before it's too late.
One thing I have to say a reporter doing a live report ask MAGA what was important to them guess what it was? Food prices, gas prices, cost of living no it was Crypto lol. Oh the crowd on the ground was nearly empty no wonder they did it inside?

I mean, that's a fair point, but different than what's going on here. The 17 inspectors general are all from different agencies not just the DHS.

IGs are like the internal watchdogs at each agency. They're supposed to operate independently and impartially to make sure that agency's employees aren't abusing their positions in government. And if something comes up, it's their office that conducts the investigation and recommends charges if warranted.

I can't imagine that the people Trump picks to replace all of these people are going to be operating in that manner. What they are going to be doing is acting as his personal attack dogs at each of these agencies instead.

The reason for the 30 days notice rule is that these positions are the watchdogs for abuses of power.... there needs to be time to replace them.

When someone of great power steps into an organization and the first thing they do is get rid of the security systems in place that watch over them... everybody should be concerned.
Yup.

I can't believe this is actually a thread and people seriously think there should be an impeachment.
Lmao you don’t think a POTUS illegally purging (at least) 17 government agency watchdogs is even worthy of a discussion thread in the political section of a karate forum? <lol> <lmao>

You guys a have a zillion Joe and Hunter Biden threads where you circle jerk conspiracy nonsense, but a POTUS actually doing something corrupt and illegal right in front of your face isn’t even worthy of discussion?

You are the walking personification of the hivemind bee meme.

This is pretty much the bottom line, here. Biden stutters during a speech and it becomes a 37 page mega thread on the forum. Trump illegally purges the government agency watchdogs in the middle of the night and it's "not worthy of a thread".

I mean, you guys can feel free to continue attempting to have good-faith arguments with these retards, but you're wasting your time. The Trumpanzees on Sherdog fall into one of two categories: trolls, and partisan hacks who refuse to acknowledge reality.

But if there actually are conservatives left on this forum who aren't shoulder-deep in Trump's ass, who still maintain some semblance of principles and don't mind calling a spade a spade, then I'd love to see them.
