I totally agree man. Our politics are broken, the people are divided, tribal and hyper-partisan and I don't really see a way out. I mean, we have like 35% (maybe more) of the country that isn't even operating in reality.

We're pretty fucked. Hard to see how this gets better until future generations have influence and power (and hopefully do better).

My negative side tells me Trumpism isn’t going away even after he’s gone. This sickness is gonna take decades to wash away. Imo it will be near impossible to remove since the general public has zero trust in all classical American institutions after the last few years.

Once you spill the milk it never goes back inside the container again. America is at a crossroads in our history and something needs to be done to correct our trajectory

Well to be fair, if Trump can prove to the supreme court that Biden's corruption was a threat to the US he can convince the court of the legal right to ask for foreign assistance in doing so.

Yeah, that really bothers me too. Even without a quid pro quo what Trump admitted to was impeachable. And now all this extra information is icing on the cake. But that's a good point.
