IF there's an in-flight emergency... But as far as I've researched, there was no in-flight emergency and it seemed like it was crew-rest...

Well evidently the Air Force had 70+ "in-flight emergencies" the year before Trump took office.

It certainly seems like a waste of money, but for some reason the Obama admin came up with this.

I don't know how much of a devil's advocate you're playing but you do seem to be making a big effort to excuse Trump's behavior.

Im just defending him on 2 facts - the call to Ukrainian president and "asking" China to investigate. I've made some peripheral comments about the emaluments clause and the way the House is running this investigation and posted about this layover in Scotland.

Yes, but that isnt what people mean when they ask for a source. They ask for a legitimate news outlet reporting the situation.

I'm thinking that with the arrest of his Ukrainian mob cronies, he's waiting for them to flip on him in exchange for a deal. When they flip on Rudy, he is going to be in very deep shit. i wouldn't count on them flipping. There is a real culture amongst these Ukrainian, Russians of never flipping or cooperating with law enforcement. Things don't end well for you (poison) or any family member you may have exposed, if you do. Manafort learned that lesson in his time with them.

Getting caught is a part of the game and you do your time and don't drag others down with you. True mob mentality.

So perhaps Rudy has incriminated himself or perhaps they were dealing with non Ukrainian, Russians who can be flipped.

Can A.G. Barr just dismiss any charges that would be brought against Rudy?

Could President Trump (although this would open up a can of worms) just pardon Rudy and just sally forth?

Routed? Are you refering to the AFTimes article that clearly says that the crew had pre-booked to stay there before the flight?

There's a ton to go after Trump for, this just isnt 1 of them; and you guys are approaching CT to make something of it.

That question is a way of determining if something has been reported by a news outlet. But just because something has been reported by a news outlet it doesn't mean the source of the information is being reported. When a news outlet reports a story and they say "unnamed sources told us...", they aren't giving us the actual source of the info. So there are two layers to asking for a source, but only the original source tells us where a story is coming from.
