Trump might bring peace to the Middle East, his administration might find the cause autism, bring greater prosperity to the world, and so on and so on, but the Nobel prize organization is a left leaning organization that gives out awards to other left wing people or causes. Trump doesn't belong in their bubble world.

They say they closed nominations at the end of January. So I guess it makes sense that Trump’s peace deals didn’t figure in.

Still not sure why Machado got it. She was the ookie in a sham election but it’s not like she has led some massive movement to end the Maduro regime. She just entered a match she knew was rigged and it turned out to be rigged. It didn’t even expose anything as this was all established that Venezuela has a sham election process several years before.

Honestly, never understood why Trump cares about that award. It must be because Obama got it for literally doing nothing except largely continuing Dubya’s foreign policy. They thought him merely being elected was worthy of it.

Trump has been more transformative than Obama and is close to shattering his legacy completely. I would say that’s better.

Besides, if these deals hold up and Russia/Ukraine is added then he’ll likely get his ribbon next year
