Another quality post.I feel the need to become outraged on someone elses behalf.
At least he’s progressed to fucking college aged kids instead of his past preference.
Believe whatever you want, it raises huge revenue. That's a fact that isn't going away. We love our college sports.Im of the belief that Colleges shouldnt be profiting off college sports to the degree they are. Nor should college athletes be receiving direct payment. Dont like how traditional sport leagues got state and federal governments to fully subsidize their development program. Something Riot Games(and Activision/Blizzard in the past) is now trying to do with their esport games.
Way hockey/NHL handles it seems to be a step in the proper direction.

It's ingrained in American society. If it were your kid or classmates i'd understand. Watching sports outside of the professional level i find weird.
Courts have ruled they WILL pay players this year (and are making back pay too in the millions to players going back to 2016, mostly to basketball and football which earn most of the money for the TV contracts), and well they should. The NCAA makes billions off of college sports and the money is a long time coming. AND they still will have the right to get NIL despite what Trump does; he can't make executive orders about someone's salary; the executive order could have to do with the college's involvement in the NIL money rather than the player's ability to make money on their own, not sure about that. The tuition crisis is another issue- that has to do with top-heavy college staffing that has more administrators than teachers.I’ll also add
Colleges and universities should NOT play players directly.
There’s already a tuition crisis. Students shouldn’t bear these costs.
Let athletes get endorsements and ad money though

It's the most watched thing on TV outside the NFL for the most part, has been for a long time. It's wildly popular in the US.If it were your kid or classmates i'd understand. Watching sports outside of the professional level i find weird.
What? Pockets? Every state has college teams that fans go crazy for. It's as American as apple pie, bro.In specific pockets of the country, sure. Which i believe is in large part contributed by the region surrounding that town lack of available entertainment.
