Economy Trump to replace Lina Khan as head of FTC

Every trans thread around here is a circular argument by people who want to sensationalize a small fraction of the population who just want the same protections under the law as everyone else. The arguments made against this are the same arguments used against every group of 2nd class citizens that ever wanted them, which is how society will decay and crumble if we grant it. Its nonsense that doesnt deserve to be taken seriously to the degree that its sensationalized. Its just right wingers forcing a reactionary narrative that they know enrages their base.

But congratulations, you've done the exact same thing as every right wing sh*tposter here and turned this thread about the MOST effective FTC chair arguably in our Country's History being fired, by someone who advertised himself as a populist, into yet another "hey what about the trannies" discussion.

Often the left resorts to tactics like you are right here where you shame the person for having any thought at all outside of the mainstream, even if you don't know what that thought is. The fascist thought control left at work. Trying to shame people for thinking outside of the box or party lines.
If you wade through that and looked deeper, there's a really neat and important discussion to be had that is nuanced and that requires all sides to rethink their positions.

The left supports legislation to force all kinds of things onto people about trans rights and then gets mad and says "why are we even talking about this? It's not important". The hypocrisy there is palpable and amazing that people like you can't see it.

Now, even though you're commenting on the subject, you'll tell me it's a derail of the thread, but you could have just as easily not commented.

You are not the adult in the room so back off and don't try to act like you are. You have not earned that right and you've proven yourself to be full of s*** several times when I've discussed things with you. So don't try to come in like your sone authority on anything at all.

You aren't smart enough to play the game you try to play.

Lol, "I know you are but what am I?"

You came in here with the express purpose to say "trannies." Just own it. We know why the average right wing chucklef*cks arent in here. You just very desperately want your assertion to be true. That doesnt mean it is. There has been PLENTY of discussion on that issue. You brought it in here, I called you out on it. They are not the same, you're not going to pretend they are. The firing of Lina Khan is a MUCH bigger and more potent issue.

Why is this surprising. Trump is an Elite who took a bunch of money from the Elite to run in 2024. Trump got a 1/4 Billion in campaign money from a Soy Boy South African.
Trump is going to cut US Veterans benefits so his South African can pay a couple percentage points less on his taxes.
Please tell how Trump is fighting for the common man again, MAGA doggers because it never fails to make me laugh my ass off at you Rubes.

Read my post history. I have contributed significantly to this thread and firing of this incredible woman.

But your whole point here is ridiculous man. I rightly pointed out that both sides ghost certain threads for partisan reasons and now you are just practicing slander based on thinking you can read mind/motives to discredit me.

You don't even have an argument here.

You replied to me calling you out for throwing your tranny gripe in here with slander, and now you're saying I'm slandering you. You tried to use this thread to mudsling against people who mostly agree with you, that's on you. You can keep trying to say it's me doing that all you want, but no one said trannies until you did. And you could have made your point about the lack of their response without that, you wanted to sling that mud, and it just made you sound exactly like them

Well I called you out for being a nanny and trying to police people's thought and slandering my motives and pretending you know them when you don't which is a kind of lying.

I said what I meant to say and I meant what I said, which is that this is the kind of thread that right-wingers will ghost because they don't want to deal with the uncomfortable facts just like there ara threads left-wing people will ghost because they don't want to deal with it.

I think the reason you're making up lying and slanderous motives for me is because you can't relate to what is motivating me, but I'll tell you straight up what it is.

I don't play on teams and I've watched people's partisan loyalty to their team or tribe get in the way of coming to truth or Justice in this world. My ideology happens to be pretty strongly on the left and so I vote that way and I vote progressive, but I will never skip an opportunity to criticize the left accurately or to point out its hypocrisy or its lies because I watch those lies fuel, hatred and division in this country and I will always stand against that kind of thing even though it makes people like you super angry.

I can't see any other way to behave if we're talking about truth and integrity. I think it's important to tell the truth about the left and build bridges with the right by doing so.

I am setting an example of a nonpartisan approach to life (even while having ideologies) an approach that identifies with truth and morality as its motive is a better example to set than to lie and apologize for a team.

I think Sam Harris articulated it well. The MAGA movement never really cared about meritocracy when it came to crying about DEI. They just wanted to assemble a different sort of DEI for kooks like themselves.
<WellThere>

Khan is a nonwhite woman, therefore she's a DEI pick, therefore she's unqualified.

Ferguson is a white guy, thus he earned his nomination.

But you libs only care about virtue signaling and ticking boxes, not competence.

Just like with Ajit Pai, everyone hated his guts but nobody blamed Trump for appointing him.

Remember, populist's enemies are always too strong and too weak at the same time, Trump won a landslide election and beat Democrats and their corporate overlords but at the same time they are too strong that they force Donnie to appoint people that corporate overlords want.

Its like when Joe Rogan complains about MSM when he has the most popular radio show ever.

You mostly pull this bullsh*t when you have a personal axe to grind on an issue that makes you uncomfortable. This crap had NO place in this thread. It's not about you, it didnt NEED to be about you, and I dont buy it.

You insinuated that I'm stupid earlier because you got in your feels. Or at least not smart enough to play some game. Well I can tell you what I AM smart enough to do, and that's get the respect of conservative posters without punching down at groups that have zero political power. If you were genuine about the FTC being an issue we can ALL agree on and you were as smart as you claim I'm not, you might have pointed out how many conservatives ADORE Lina Khan. She is so respected by many of them that they refer to themselves as "Khanservatives" because they agree with her efforts to curtail corporate power, and youd have spent your energy pointing out how Trump has betrayed his own by spitting in their faces, as well as the median republican voter who will benefit from her work. This is a blatant shift of giving government power to corporate shills and that's the bigger issue.

But trannies, amirite?

So what is my position on the trans issue since you know that I'm pushing down on them? Just list it in detail and then we'll discuss it.

I know that you are lying here and can't do so. Speak the truth and shame the devil.

@Sinister furiously searching my post history trying to come up with some detail, some single sentence he can use to try to pretend he has any idea what my position is...

lol.

And then instead of answering my question which is to astate my full position on the matter (since he can confidently state that I am punching down on trans people) he will try to find something I've said he can use to pretend represents my entire position on the matter further proving himself to be a liar.

He will then claim victory.

This is unironically what @Scerpi thinks

Also separately to prove you are lying about my activity in this thread also here is the first of three or four posts by me on the topic.

@Sinister

Notice how you said that if I was serious about Lena Khan being a good person, I would have pointed out that she is well respected by the right and the left and notice how I did so in my first post in this thread that you obviously didn't read!!!!

I also never said you're stupid. That would be mean what I said is you're not smart enough for the game you try to play with me. You are always getting out over your shoes and leading with your chin in every single discussion we have.

What you ought to try to do is actually have good faith discussions with me instead of come in like some kind of power player.

-------------------------------------------------------------

yeah why keep the person who is liked by Dems and Republican alike!! here is a list of things she has done for the American people.

every one of these things is good for the blue collar average person.

-fought big tech and pharma
-returned 830 million for people who were scammed
-cracked down on junk fees
-lowered drug prices
-sued Walmart for money transfer fraud
-sued turbo tax for deceptive advertising
-sued crypto scammers and got 1.65 billion returned to customers.
-cracked down on online fraud
-banned non compete agreements
-cracked down of fake patents lowering drug prices
-cracked down on for profit colleges with fake online reviews
-blocked illegal mergers
restored right to repair
blocked Kroger and Albertsons from merging (monopolies)
delivered click to cancel for subscriptions.

that's a hell of a good list and just might prevent some rich CEO from getting assassinated over greed and misuse of power.

Here's another

click to cancel alone has probably stopped many different mental breakdowns and CEO shootings... the most frustrated I ever am is when someone is talking my money but WONT answer the phone so I can cancel easily and designs hoops to jump through taking hours of my time!!!

And another responding to a poster asking if Trump was going to put someone better in her position and promote her to a higher position.

"No he isn't and he's replacing her with someone who would have done NONE of those things I listed above and will work against the american people."

"she is one of the best things we have going for the American worker right now man."

Sounds like a whole lot of socialism

This is expected. With the amount of big corporate money that backed Trump she wouldnt last.

Which is a shame. She was the FTC chair of our lifetime.

I just wish more Republicans would engage this thread because this is not a move that somebody looking out for the American people would make without an official explanation detailing why and what Trump was going to do to replace her.

We have been told that if Trump doesn't follow through with his statements that maga will hold him accountable but I'm just hearing crickets every time he makes a move that is bad for the American worker.
