I can't quite understand how he's considering pardoning Blago.
Can anyone help me with this??

Ignorance of the law is not an excuse my friend. Knowingly speeding at 75mph vs not knowing the speed limit was only 65mph are no different. But I guarantee you Rosie will not see a judge and court...hmmm gee wonder why that is...
#staywoke #thebiglie
"Martha Stewart never would have gone to jail if she hadn't lied during her testimony," Giuliani said on CNN earlier this month. "Lying ... isn't black and white."
I'm not arguing his innocence. The sentencing was harsher than the norm. That's all...
Just as Rosie's case defines, people often over donate and the campaign either returns the money or diverts it to another campaign. Obama's campaign excepted millions in illegal donations, neither diverted or returned it and was only fined. (many others too, on both sides of the isle) Then there are the unions....
When you really look in to how the justice system has historically handled these matters it definitely seems harsh. They are cracking down these past couple of years though.
Murka going full Idiocracy.
Simple. It depends on what the definition of is is.Apparently he is now considering pardoning Martha Stewart.
Lol, what?
Based on what? You brought up Rosie who's case stops at a violation of donating more than the legal campaign contribution limit.
Dinesh committed 2 other crimes which are more serious. Why bring her up?
Find me a case similar to Dinesh's.
I don’t care about any of that stuff.
Lol, he wasn't even tagged in it. Did he search his own name on twitter or something?always worth reposting

I didn't "but, but" Rosie. I posted the commentary from it that expressed the typical repercussions for violations. I don't think Rosie should have done time, or Dinesh.
Hard to find anything equal. But this article is interesting and highlights the FEC's reluctance to prosecute criminally.

Don't be obtuse PH.Rosie has nothing to do with Dinesh.
And again his sentence was lighter then the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
I don't even know what you're trying to say at this point.

GWB really began to break down the perception of a POTUS as necessarily highly intelligent and informed in my mind but Trump has completely burst the dam.
Don't be obtuse PH.
The point is, the FEC has a historic record of not bringing criminal charges for campaign violations, only fines. Even major ones.
The sentencing guidelines mean nothing if you are not prosecuted.
Btw: Have you gone to AC for dinner a Ramsey's yet?
Oh and from your own link lol
"The department frequently has initiated such cases, achieving numerous convictions over the years and winning tough sentences, including prison terms. The most common criminal cases involve violations such as illegal campaign contributions through straw donors, embezzlement of campaign funds, and more recently illegal coordination between a candidate's campaign and a super political action committee"
So yeah Campaign Finance Law violations usually aren't prosecuted. But the specific violations Dinesh committed are the kinds that they do prosecuted.
Give @HomerThompson his due man....You can definitely see a devolution in the Murkan President. Everyone thought Bush was an idiot, now Trumps outdone him. Im expecting the next progression from Trump will be President Camacho.
