This makes no sense on Trump's part given that most countries in the world, including many countries in the EU (who Trump has already worked out a trade deal with) already recognize Palestine as a state.

So either Trump is completely ignorant of that fact, or Trump is trying to get some cheap heat on Canada because he can't work out a trade deal with them.

Then they build a wall or fix the one they have and seal it off. With no movement between the two. Israel cuts off all connections with them whatever they were supplying them with stops and they get that from their Muslim brothers. Once they are separated totally if hamas fires or attacks them on anyway then its an act of war and all bets are off. We give Israel whatever they need for agreeing to this to protect themselves as long as they dont attack first.

700k settlers in the Westbank and East Jerusalem is why they haven't done it. Trying to remove them while they are all armed is not going to be an easy task.

Yes this is one of the problems however they can just leave them and let Palestinians arm up and take care of them if they dont want to move. They would fall under Palestinians control the settlements are leagly and they should be told to return home or you are on your own. In other words fuck them.

That police force and or the military can do whatever is needed to take the land or reach some kind of deal or whatever. The illegal settlers would get no help from anyone especially Israel. If they choose violence then whatever happens to them is on them. This is after they are told they must return to Israel or they are on their own.

That's going to be an all out war, and you'd be crazy to think that the settlers wouldn't receive help from the Israeli right that support their cause. If other Arab countries jumped in to support the Palestinian forces in the West Bank then that would drag all of Israel into the war.

Israel should be forced to agree with this or we cut miltary aid. The settlements are illegal as I understand. If Palestine is to become an independent country then they have the right to control their land. The settlements should be given a chance to leave maybe with some sort of resettlement funds and a new place to go. If they dont then they should be on their own.

Yea I think so and I dont see anyone agreeing to what needs to be done. I support Israel's right to live and be left alone. To do this hard decisions need to be made that will not completely satisfy either side especially the "river to the sea" shitheads but there it is.
