Not really to be honest, and I'll give a historical precedent which also involves secret nuclear weapons technology. Back in the 90s, the Chinese got their hands on the plans for the W88 nuclear warhead used on many US nuclear missiles. We later found out that it was greatly helped by a bunch of leaks going all the way to the top in both the US military & civilian government, and there was a pretty big scandal and a whole bunch of investigations on how this shit went down.
But was it really a big deal? No. And that's because the Chinese getting their hands on the W88 warhead design is actually a good thing. First, it works better than anything they had so it means China now has a better and more credible nuclear deterrence, and this is good because it lowers the risk of a nuclear exchange. Next, it's a cleaner and more efficient warhead design than what the Chinese were using, so if god forbid we do have a nuclear war it reduces the amount of radioactive fallout that's created.
While the common perception is that the Chinese stealing the W88 warhead design was a complete disaster for US national security & interests, it was actually a good thing when looking at the bigger picture.
