Im just pointing out that they are definitely a threat in some ways. I mean you can say there's different types of threats. We take down drones on the regular all the time regardless of them being a threat or not and arrest the people accordingly. But now we don't all of a sudden for some reason. Why would we not take these drones down? It makes the federal government look bad and it makes Biden look bad.

Why would the federal government shoot down their own drones?

Could be training exercises, could be research, could be both or some combination, but is certainly not something to talk about or they just would.

If it was, they would be doing this in parts of the country where there isn't much, if any people around. Just like Area 51.

I still don't see how it's dumb to think that if it was testing, they would do it in places where people wouldn't see it. Gov has admitted area 51 was a Military testing site.

But why wouldn't they fill in local military bases and local police or maybe the governor? What is so secretive that you have to keep Senators in the dark? Why possibly cause mass hysteria? I can't see this being any kind of training exercise. They wouldn't do it in this manner.

It's definitely us. No other country would risk a war with us at this point. Plus it would get shot down. It's not a civilian drone cause again, it would get shot down. And it’s definitely not alien cause there's no way a secret like that can be kept quiet.

I can only comment on what I see which is a reaction of panic and demoralization stemming from the uncertainty on display by our government.

Hard to speculate as we are clearly being kept in the dark but as far as the OP is concerned, Trump said our POTUS knows. I'm looking higher up on the totem pole at this point.

I agree, I was just saying if it was, they would be doing it somewhere the public wouldn't know about it.

I mean, what if they were training at a specific base? Or what if they needed to test the craft in certain conditions that don't exist in Area 51? What if it's something else?

What if the exercise is to see what the current civilian reaction to drones would be?

You have no context and you're just filling in the blanks. Unless these things start exploding or getting shot down not sure the wild speculation is necessary.
