No, he is not a 'dolt' as you claim. This is obvious. He is probably the most powerful man in the world. That's not an easy feat to achieve. You call him a thug because he frustrates you on a deeper level. You can see he is not a more traditional intellectual of sorts and instead he relies on instinct and straight up cave man style dominance and intimidation. He's not especially large or anything either, the man has got by through cunning intellect. You could argue that you don't like his methods or something, but to break him down into being a dolt is very dishonest.
