China has nothing to do with the virus despite creating it and releasing it. You are also categorically wrong because the west coast had countless documented cases in January from China travel.

China was where the virus first made the leap from animal to human, and they suppressed early reports of its severity. China’s not innocent here, though “creating” and “releasing” imply agency that no human had around the virus.

There were cases in the west, but limited and controlled. The spread that infected millions of Americans started in the northeast and spread outward from there.

If we had an ongoing travel ban with China before covid, no Chinese travel to and from the us in 2020, it wouldn’t have reduced our current covid numbers, since the virus that seeded the American crisis came in throughEurope.

Trump has issued no memorializing no truly grievous statements to the mass death that this pandemic has effected in the us. He has downplayed it, called it a hoax, mocked it and people who wear masks. Trump getting covid and becoming gravely ill or worse from it is complete karma.

Kinda makes sense and explains Woodley's piss poor performance. He infected himself with Covid, and only showed up long enough to get Colby to take him down, and get infected. After they spent enough time on the ground for him to be confident that he infected Colby, he just tapped and went to get treated. 10/10 Woodley, you win this round.
