- On Friday Trump posted on his Truth Social social media platform that the Republican Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell has a "death wish", for supporting Democrat sponsored bills.
- Trump did not specify which piece of legislation he had an issue with.
- He also attacked McConnell's wife Elaine Chao as "China loving wife Coco Chow"
- This is not the first time he has attacked McConnell and his wife and brought up links to China.
- Former Trump White House aide Alyssah Farrah, who is now a co-host on the View, condemned Trump for the racist comments. Farah is the daugher of Joseph Farah, the founder of World Net Daily.
"He’s not even trying to hide the racism at this point. Just despicable."

In August, Trump attacked McConnell and his wife, saying he was helping his crazy wife and her family get rich in China.
"Why do Republican Senators allow a broken down hack politician, Mitch McConnell, to openly disparage hard working Republican candidates for the United States Senate. This is such an affront to honor and to leadership," Trump posted online Saturday. "He should spend more time (and money!) helping them get elected, and less time helping his crazy wife and family get rich on China!"

Elaine Chao was head of the Dept of Transportation under Trump. Her father's shipping business does do significant business with Mainland China , along with other places. Elaine Chao was born in Taiwan.
The Dept. of Transportation's Inspector General did find that Elaine Chao utilized Department personnel "in matters related" to her father's shipping business, but the Trump DOJ declined to investigate.
Seems like Trump had no problem with McConnell and his wife Elaine Chao when Mitch was aiding Trump, but after McConnell said Trump was "practically and morally responsible" for Jan 6th, things have really soured between them. McConnell though voted to not impeach Trump.
