Law Trump just pardoned 1.5k rioters and Proud Boys.....

Eh, not really. He did something I disagree with. That happens. You can't support literally every single thing a politician does even if it contradicts other things. This used to be the norm before you guys decided anybody who disagree with you is a nazi, bigot, racist, xenophobe, blah blah blah... Try getting back to that and your view of politicians will be more even keeled.

Potato - Potahto...

Do you actually think I’m going to post links in this thread again? Just to be told I’m flailing? If I’m wrong and there’s no Jan 6 people that were still not charged before they were pardoned/granted clemency or commuted before today prove me wrong Andy.
You could just say you already posted links and point me to the post(s) in question. I think that's reasonable. Suggesting I attempt to prove a negative to counter a claim you made is not reasonable, however.

All the information I have seen indicates many were let go, many were given only fines, probation, or community service, and most of the ones charged with more serious offenses were granted bail. I haven't seen anything other than anecdotes suggesting their due process rights were violated.

I'm totally open to being proved wrong; I just haven't seen any evidence of it in the last 4 years.

Also, lol again at the irony of you suggesting someone else is acting childishly. Tell RR I said hi. Oh, wait. I guess you don't need to bother, do you?

Lol, the victim complex on this chick 🤣

But this is a big one, right?

All that 'Back the Blue' from Trump now proven to be absolute BS.

He had an easy path to pardon non violent offenders and not the ones who violently attacked cops, ending some of their careers due to severe injuries and Trump said to Vance and you voters, 'Fuck those cops... i support those who beat them'.

Do you think people on the right generally have an "even keel" on these matters? If this was an Obama turn do you not think they would be screaming he should "back the blue"?

Yeah I was not clear if Trump actually said he would or would not pardon J6ers.

I can't say I like pardons in general, but we've come a long way from Light and Dark Brandon who said he wouldnt then he did

This is Trumps quote from May 11th 2023.

I am inclined to pardon many of them. I can’t say for every single one because a couple of them, probably, they got out of control.

This is especially hilarious on here after all the lefties were boasting for the last few years that Trump was lying and would never pardon them.

Wasn't Coffman sentenced years ago? I thought there were a lot more than 14 sentenced. Do we have a list of the 14 people?
I posted a link earlier. It claimed it was only 14. I could be misremembering. If so, my bad

Thank you for clearing that up. Looks like Trump did actually keep his word.

QueenB was actually satire. This one seems to be actually drinking the koolaid. Maybe Homer or that Hillsalvk guy?
I’m not familiar with any of those accounts, but this ChosenCan is a complete dumbass who can’t help but embarrass himself.

He definitely is drinking the koolaid; there’s his insight below for you

It makes sense he would pardon them all seeing it was his lies that got them in the mess they were in. He was intentionally ambiguous about exactly who he was going to pardon. I don’t think that is necessarily being honest.

Intentionally ambiguous or exactly on point depending how you want to look at it.

What he did NOT do was lie like Biden did about pardoning Hunter and issuing blanket pardons. The distinction between the two scenarios needs to be examined more, particularly by the left.

I can safely criticize Trump all day for doing what he said he was gonna do however I can also boil it down safely into a very simple equation for everyone on either side.

Our (former) POTUS, that YOU voted for, lied to us about the pardons.
Our (current) POTUS, that I voted for, told the truth about the pardons.

Can't get down to brass tax any more than that.

Who did I vote for? I was very adamant I had never voted for Biden and wouldn’t be voting for Harris. I also didn’t vote for a traitor like you did. Since you brought it up this thread isn’t about Biden and his shitty pardons. How soon you seem to have forgotten.

Nonsense. Cops have great salaries and benefits all paid for by the taxpayers. We take very good care of our police in the West.
The argument of "well they have good pay and benefits so it can't be a thankless job" doesn't really hit the point of why it's a thankless job. A job can be thankless making $40k or $400k and vice versa. Your comments for example minimizing them highlights this.
