To be fair, that is the case for every single topic learned in the school system. If you really want to get deep into the subject you have to do it on your own, and their are resources to do so in the US if you have that interest.

War has always been an interest of mine. I have a US M1 Garand and British Lee Enfield from WWII in my house, amongst many other items of militaria. Including family stuff like letters and photos from my grandfathers time in WWII/Korea.

They happen to circ jerk each other about that or videos of Russians being bombed, but what they don’t actually discuss is how Ukraine has not retaken anything and is slowly losing ground.

Just look at what they have fallen for:

Putin has cancer
People of Russia will overthrow Putin any time now

Russia will steamroll through all of europe


Their cognitive dissonance needs it to continue indefinitely, because their resolution they want will never happen. So they need it to continue, in lieu of that result not being attainable, so they can at least tell themselves there is a chance something may change and somehow Russia is fully backed out.

Otherwise it ending like this will just confirm they are idiots who bought into the military industrial complex narrative

Nah, facism is direct government and corporate partnership to suppress the will of the people and that's exactly what's going on. How that partnership is expressed is really dependent on the flavor of the dictator or oligarchs. Trump doesn't have to hide the relationship because these people are so far gone and subverted it doesn't matter if they're honest about it.

More tax cuts for the rich, crack downs on unions and overtime, crack downs on remote work.
