There's an easy way for this war to end and that's if Putin retreats. Apart from that, as long as Ukraine has a will to fight they should get the help needed to defend itself from a brutal dictator trying to annex their land. It's in Europes interest also. We'll keep supporting them as long as it's possible with or without the US. As far as remaining an ally to the US goes I fear you guys have exhausted any remaining goodwill that was still left in Europe. These types of isolationist policies and backstabbing of decade long allies will only come back to bite you in the ass in the future

He has said he gets classified info the public doesn’t get and the death toll between both sides is about 1.2 million (I think that is what he said) and there are many more injured. He specifically says the civilian death toll is way higher, just they haven’t been able to go in and confirm all the bodies.

Not sure about the funding numbers, but there are several numbers floating around, hard to know which are accurate. Also may have info not available to the public

There's more emphasis on the atrocities of Hitler and the Nazis, not the economics or politics. And it's the economics and politics that repeat in history.

And we completely ignore the geopolitical realities that led to Japan's wholesale invasion of mainland Asia. We like to pretend that the Pacific theater started with Pearl Harbor when Japan's aggression in Asia went back to the early 1930s. I'm pretty sure people not dying anymore is a concession. Ukraine was never going to be in NATO. That is the consensus of every Russian president since the end of the cold war. They'd never allow it. It would be nuclear armaggeddon and the end of the world as we know it now. Also, Zelensky was literally a regional TV actor of no great wealth and is now a billionaire. He was installed to do a job and he did it amazingly. I'm pretty sure Ukraine is better off with out him at this point.
