Elections Trump Indicted On 91 Counts

To me, it's completely insane. There's no other way to put it. Everyone saw it coming from Mitch McConnell to Tucker Carlson and said, oh well, fuck it, at least I get mine. Literally everyone saw it coming years ago.

They let it happen because the want a dictator once and for all to keep those pesky Dems from having any power from now to eternity. A black Democrat two term president was the last straw for these people, I think. You can go all the way back to before the 2016 election and find Roger Stone promoting the stolen election CT to the effect that Trump should say it was stolen at every opportunity if he loses. The Mercers, Bannon, Stone, et al., concocted this all the way back then. And now they've gotten what they wanted except for one hurdle to cross, the 2024 election.

Sadly, what Trump's backers could never have foreseen was his inerrant stupidity and the effortlessness with which he made a point of it at every opportunity. Take the documents case. Trump has gone and gotten himself into deep debt with a lot of nasty people--I think that's what the nuke secrets were for--so instead of just giving everything back to the feds, he tried to hide them and destroy evidence. Why he's not behind bars for that alone while awaiting trial I have no idea, but apparently, because the Republicans can't stomach being the opposition for the next 4 years, the Republican establishment wouldn't cut ties with this ditch pig and now they're getting fucked like recalcitrant sows.

Lmao, you think Trump took nuke secrets to pay off his debts to "nasty people"?

Goodness you are hook, line and sinker brainwashed.

Naw, his dumbass took them so he can show off to friends, family, and any rich sod or Mar-la-go club member who may be in the room at the time. Because that's exactly what any former patriotic US president should do or act, goodness you are hook, line and sinker brainwashed.

Have you ever wondered why Trump supporters love Trump so much? Have you ever wondered what Donald Trump has done for them to make them so loyal to him? I mean it’s not like they’re in the top 1% and it’s not like he’s given them permanent tax cuts. For SOME (not all) poor white people, obviously they don’t have a lot of capital for whatever reason. They don’t have money in the bank. They don’t have investments. So the only form of capital that they have and that they can hang their hat on is social capital. What does social capital mean? It means white supremacy. They might be living in a dilapidated house. They might have not been able to afford a dentist. But in their minds they think “At least we’re not *THOSE* people.” So when Trump comes out and makes them feel superior to Muslims and people coming over the border they sit back and say, “That’s right. That’s right. I am superior!” And that’s all these Trump supporters need from Trump. It doesn’t matter to them that Trump is grifting them. When Trump says “Hey send me money and me my friends will build the border wall” and then they actually send him their money, and then Steve Bannon steals the money and Trump pardons him, none of that matters to these Trump supporters. It’s why Trump is part of their identity. Because Trump validates their whiteness. That’s ALL they have to bank on (their hierarchy that so many of us are trying to break down). That’s the only thing making them feel that they’re worth something. And that alone is enough for them to do something like storming the capitol and say “Yes, I will lay down my life for Trump.” So if you ask a female Trump supporter why they are voting against their own interests they would say “We’re not.”

well, she makes a solid point. but i never seen it as a white supremacy kind of thing.

<mma4> A solid theory was made...

President Lyndon B. Johnson once said, "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

The most badly treated, from the standpoint of badly

Trump is a victim. It unfair how every one treats Trump. Donald Trump is a 3rd generation rich guy, who went to private High School, Ivy League College and inherited almost a billion dollars from Fred Trump. Trump should be applauded for doing so much for being born with all that hardship. Most people would not have been able to make it with all those road blocks that Donald Trump had to hurdle.

I hear trump can’t hurdle due to his bone spurs and that is why he has been forced to walk through shit his entire life…

Judge throws out 6 counts of Trump's Georgia election interference indictment

A Fulton County judge on Wednesday quashed multiple counts contained in the election interference indictment against former President Donald Trump and several of his co-defendants.

The order from Judge Scott McAfee dismissed six counts related to a specific charge: Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer.

Of the 13 counts Trump faced, three of them were tossed by the judge's order. Trump now faces 10 counts in the case.

im sure we get those numbers back over 90 as this plays out.

Alexander Smirnov was paid $600,000 in 2020 – the same year he allegedly began lying to FBI about Bidens’ role in Ukraine business

I would imagine, like most things in life, the simplest answer is the most accurate. In the case of Trump, he has no actual values other than money and ego and seems to be someone virtually devoid of imagination. So he took things because A) he could and B) he understood -instinctively or actively- that there was some kind of potential to make money. I suspect that is all it boiled down to.

I have always viewed the MAGA movement as a white nationalist movement at heart. It’s merged a bit with modern Christian Nationalism too, but that brand of Christian Nationalism is really White Christian Nationalism anyhow.

“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.”
― Barry Goldwater

Goldwater called what the modern GOP has morphed into, but the problem is, church attendance is going down, and going hard to the religious right is not an election winner unless you are in a gerrymandered district of the mid west. This is why the GOP gets killed in elections when young voters show up.

What’s crazy about that quote is that I largely blame Barry Goldwater for their white nationalism/racism problem. He was one of the main architects of the Southern Strategy, because they opportunistically wanted all those racist voters that Dems alienated when they stopped being the party of the Klan, and became he party of the Civil Rights Act. Fast forward to 2024, and the GOP can’t say out loud that slavery caused the Civil War, or has to pretend that systemic racism is a myth, because they know that if they piss off the racists and lose their votes, they’d never win another election again.

I always thought Billy Grahams intentions were pure. Too bad his son is a shit head and most religious leaders now a days are more concerned how big is their mansion, or how much power they can accumulate. Christian leaders blaming all kind of reasons why church attendance is falling(some of those reasons are used only for the purpose of keeping the Rubes motivated), but the one place they wont look is the mirror. If you look at them objectively there hypocrisy is too much for some Christians . I grew up in the church and embarrassed that some of these so called Christian leaders are the ones leading Christians.
