International Trump forced Israel to negotiate with Hamas

On its face I have to give Trump tons of credit for ceasing the sickening genocide that is happening to the Palestinian people. Biden should have done this a few weeks after the Israelis started their genocide

I'm not sure I'm going to like the deal that he helps negotiate between Israel and the Palestinians because I think Trump is pro- Israel but compared to Biden allowing this to happen on his watch, which is the single worst thing I've ever seen in my lifetime. It's the most positive thing I've seen in 4 years.

It also shows that bringing Israel to heel is the easiest thing to do in the world if that's what you actually want to do.

The site sucks by the way and is almost unusable on my mobile.
The thing is, nobody was afraid of Biden..

Trump brings back the Wild Card aspect, and he does rule with an iron fist I must admit.. we will find out if that is what we need at this moment in time.

As for the ceasefire, I see that as short lived. Everyone behave for the inauguration, and a week or two after when most likely someone from Hamas shots a rocket at a sand dune it’s back to Game On.

It's just an immature perspective to think that people needed to fear the president. All Biden had to do was just tell Israel that we will cut your funding if you don't end this b******* and they would have. It's just that simple but Biden didn't really want to do that.

Fear instability lying dishonesty ulterior motives and bullying? none of that is necessary or helpful when you have the largest military and the largest economy in the world behind you.

Strong decisive respectful action but firm is what a president should be instead. Talk softly and carry a big stick. Let people know the bottom line and the way it has to be behind the scenes but be kind politically and in public whenever possible.. There are a million ways to accomplish this same end without being an idiot and a buffoon and a dangerous unstable person.

It's not the wild card aspect of Trump that was needed to stop this. It's just that Trump actually wanted to stop it and Biden didn't.

This seems a bit charitable, Hamas doesn't really have anything to lose, they're already in hell and have been there for months. I doubt Trump's threats changed much, Israel seemed to be more unwilling to negotiate in recent weeks since they have all the advantages. Trump's team negotiating with Netanyahu was definitely what got the deal finally completed.
Oh, it could be tremendously worse, and only a fool would believe that Palestine doesn't still have plenty to lose (like...their land). Only the naive don't understand there is plenty of leverage, still, and Hamas knows it.

We don’t agree on much, but you’re correct. Especially your last sentence. I wonder why? Makes you wonder why warhawks like Dick Cheney all of a sudden backed Biden. It’s almost as if the president was never truly in control.

This doesn't make much sense to me, the deal accepted was put on the table months ago, the negotiation for the 3 phase ceasefire started in May before the election was even decided. Trump gave Netanyahu the final push to accept it.

It is not the same deal. It is similar, but it is not the same deal. Also, LOL, you act like Israel was the only side holding out. Hamas had refused to agree to relinquishing the hostages interminably.

All the reporting I'm reading on the topic seems to indicate the deal is the culmination of the negotiation that has been ongoing the past half year or so. Is it exactly the same as the original offer in May? Of course not, but it is very much the culmination of that process.

It's also still not for all the hostage, but 1/3rd of them. They're still refusing to release hostages.

God Bless you Eternal Grand Marshall #DonaldTrump ! Certainly this it was just warm up for full effect #GlobalUnification efforts to come! ☮️🤝🪇

Personally was cannot wait for additional Freedom and Prosperity in Our Bright Futures, boyos!

That to me looks like it was either Israeli incompetence or maybe even allowing it to happen.

Lest we forget(and it seems the media is trying very hard to make sure we do) the dancing Israeli's during 9/11....
yes, the dancing israeli's conspiracy theory......

do you think israeli's in general were happy about 9/11? why would they be?

From what I gather from friends who have followed politics for a long time, Biden has always been a firm supporter of Israel. I think it's genuinely biden's position to back Israel in this way.

Biden trying to take credit.

<lmao>

Wow... go ahead leftists, claim he isn't senile.

it's going to be interesting how the left/anti trump crowd spins this one.
