Trump crying about Stephen Curry... lol

I hate when people try to put down someones success because they don't agree with them. I would take a bullet for Tom Brady and he's a Trump supporter.

which is probably the thing that annoys me the most right now in this world. people have a problem filtering things through a partisanship filter only.

I don't like Conor McGregor at all, he misrepresents what traditional martial arts are supposed to be about. but you cannot deny the man's ability to fight & his accomplishments.

So, then what does your god control? If he doesn't stop the natural disaster does he cause them? Why did he choose to save some people while letting that little girl scream in terror as her lungs filled with water as her family died around her helplessly. Why didn't your god help her?

God created the world and everything in it. He gave humans choice, and with that choice came consequences. We are now experiencing the consequences of our actions. People are unable to scream in terror as their lungs will with water. If you're going to use vivid imagery in an attempt to drive your point home, you should be accurate.

This is what aggravates me about this faux outrage. Let's have it one way or the other. If it is an apolitcal gesture, then let's keep it apolitical. If athletes are going to turn these visits into opportunities for political grandstanding, why wouldn't presidents react politically to it?
Exactly. Curry said he won't go cause he doesn't like what Trump stands for. He said it publicly. Trump can react to that. It's politics and that's how it works.

Curry nor Trump did anything wrong. They just don't want to meet with each other.

I didn't like Lebron much but i really respect him now having Curry's back. Even thought they get into it on the court they all stick together off it.

Something tells me Trump supporters don't really watch the NBA anyway. Too much "color".

NBA players still suffer from discrimination. If you have your head in the sand just google "LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling".

The left cannot be This consistently stupid, can they? Trump is baiuting the anti-American with his attacks on Hollywood, the media, and now the sports world. Hes giving you guys rope to hang yourself.

He's going to turn middle America and much of the right completely against the left and the media, Hollywood, and the nfl will, and are, seeing they're ratings and sales drop.

I agree. And it's genius.

Yet you 2 claim Obama is the 'most divisive President ever'.

You've just glorified a President actively seeking to divide the country. Something Obama never did to that level or tried to do on purpose at any time.

You both look like hypocrites now. I'll have your quotes saved for the next time you bring up that bullshit argument against Obama in the future.

I don't mean to intervene..

but aren't you a stay at home unemployed husband?

I'm not even a fan of Donald Glover musically, never really gave him a listen, but you can't deny his talent.

the dude's resume is impressive as all hell & he's everywhere.

Community was an excellent show.

Community is an excellent show. Season 6 was hilarious without Donald Glover.

What are you not following? You're calling him an imbecile no? If he was an imbecile, how would he have won the presidency? How would the country be doing so great under an imbecile?
He's an imbecile for responding to an NBA player in such a childlike manner. He is supposed to be better than such petty rants on the net.Remember the US prez is suppose to be held to a higher standard?

I just said it's an interesting way to measure it. They're catching less so the conclusion is it's down. Surely an interesting conclusion. I have no way at all to measure it. How would I? You wait all you like.

It's the way they've been doing it for a while. It sounded weird at first, but the more you think about it, it makes sense. Unless you're saying people aren't even trying to come over the border anymore, which is still a win as far as illegal immigration is concerned.

Yet you 2 claim Obama is the 'most divisive President ever'.
Becuase Obama was the most divisive president ever.

Trump is just responding in a political manner to comments made by Steph Curry. That is politics. You guys on the left just don't like that Trump fights back at you.

They need to get the metric from somewhere, right?

You're so fucking retarded. Dude wrote for 30 Rock and won an Emmy in his early 20s, he sold out theaters as a comedian around the same time. He started rapping early under Childish Gambino, and his last funk/soul album was incredible.

Successful comedian- Got a Comedy Central special under his belt the year he got cast in Community.
Successful writer- Received awards for writing for 30 rock in his early twenties, won awards for his hit show Atlanta
Successful actor- Community, The Martian, and playing the young Lando coming up, as well as voice acting Simba in the new Lion King
Successful singer- Because the Internet was a great hip hop album, Kauai was a much more subdued trippy album, and Awaken My Love! is certified Gold
Successful director/producer- The first black director to win an emmy for a comedy, as well as his work with Derrick Comedy, and he's in charge of the new Deadpool show.

You don't find his incredible success in multiple fields impressive (especially at his age) while you lay on your couch and refuse to get a job while contributing absolutely nothing to the world.
The audacity and ignorance is incredible.

I don't talk politics with anyone socially, I don't do political humor outside of one joke about the "clear wall", people are way too obsessed with identity politics. Someone being a liberal or a conservative doesn't affect the merit of a person.

A natural disaster isn't a choice, also good catch. I'm a little off lol, OU is about to lose to Baylor and I'm dead inside.

The reason it's funny is Trumps reaction was so dumb.

Curry took to twitter to politicize the visit. Trump didn't get involved randomly with some NBA player. He cancelled his invitation to the team. He actually sounded like a parent there. The kid is going "I don't even wanna go to Disneyland" after hearing they were gonna go. So the parent said "fine, we won't go to "Disneyland". Oh my soooooo childlike lol

Not worth responding to

Sure, they have reach. But is naming them "enemy" really a good look for Trump? I'm pretty sure anyone getting their political views from athletes is already lost. Steph Curry isn't changing anyone's mind, in my opinion, he's just another wall in one echo chamber.
It was a poster here that used the term "political enemies" regarding this situation, not Trump as far as I know.

In this situation with the Warriors the term is of course not accurate, as Steph, the coach, and the handful of players who'd expressed doubts about attending the WH invite are not political actors but entertainers. However, when they express political opinions to millions of people who's adoration they've earned, they are acting in a manner that affects, either by reinforcing or challenging, their fans' political opinions on the current administration.

Therefore, it's my opinion that if Trump used the term now, or if Obama had used the term during the Tim Thomas situation, Jacob Volkmann situation, or certainly the Tom Lehman situation, I'd have a hard time disqualifying the validity of the term "political enemy". Mostly I'd want to see enemy replaced with opponent, but I'm just rolling with the term a poster here used to characterize Trump's response.
