Law Trump appointed judge blocks OT pay for millions of workers

This entire post is comically distant from anything resembling reality. My bud gets OT if he works over 40 hours a week. He's not allowed to without approval. He makes much more than what the new cap was supposed to be.

It's also like you didn't read the article nor watch the short video that explain what this thread is about yet you keep posting.
First i did watch the 3 minute video

Second im only replying to those replying to me. Just because it doesn't fit your narrative doesn't mean i cant post. Its a public forum.

My narrative being reality. No one said you couldn't post

Thats how its always been tho. Salary workers know what they're getting into and there are those insane weeks/months you work hours that are insane and not reflective of you're pay. But the reality of companies restructing their entire pay structure because of this would have been almost assured and it would be less beneficial.

Jesus. I don't know why anyone accepts these jobs. Sounds terrible.

That heavily implies i shouldn't be posting, because i see it my way in this is not only no real big loss but in the end if this went into effect you can say goodbye to a massive chunk of your annual salary.

So no, i think your take is pretty askew not mine but it angers you because you seem to think i should see it your way as if it would help you out in the end. This wasn't a law i signed, i wasnt the judge who blocked it, i hold no sway in it going into effect, and im not your employer so the only logical thing i can think of being the problem here is i dont agree with it. Im sure had i posted "what a dick, fuck that judges ruling and all republicans pay me" you wouldnt be replying back to me constantly. You must be a reddit poster.

Most people accept those jobs because they're lied to at the hiring process.

It's a tale as old as time itself. Once you sign that contract, your responsibilities increase, your load starts getting bigger and bigger, and by the time you realize what's going on, you're working 80 hours a week for 40 hour pay.
But, everyone at work is one big family.
