Crime Trump Administration Sent Legal Immigrant to Prison in El Salvador

On BP Krystal was saying there is no evidence he has committed any crime. What does she think he was doing when the police stopped him while driving in the middle of the night in Tennessee....in a van full of men with no luggage or ID?

I mean at least say "There is no proof" instead of "There is no evidence"

He was indicted by a grand jury for all these things. So to say there is no evidence is ridiculous, even if not convicted. Not to mention the evidence two previous immigration court judges saw that made them believe he was also.

That's the American justice system in a nutshell. This is why US defendants get lawyers(even if often shitty ones who push for quick settlements/plea agreements). A lot of case law in the US is set up to protect the guilty and even let many of them go free on technicalities.

It is part of the old Blackstone saying "it is better to let ten guilty men go free then to let one innocent man suffer". Why not let him have his day in court?

It's not hard to have a police officer or clerk get out and give sworn testimony regarding body cam footage / traffic stop or finger prints/DNA matching(to prove that it's 99.9% the same guy) etc.

Grand juries are neither sufficient due process or adversarial. If the government has such a strong case, they should be eager to go to the trial they asked for.

What happened to the whining about "...district attorneys could get grand juries to "indict a ham sandwich"." Not to mention the ridiculous hypocrisy of the paucity of evidence in his case and your stupid arguments for Trump's innocence in the various cases he was indicted for.

So, ICE has notified him he’ll be going to Eswatini. Apparently a country that didn’t come to mind in places he fears persecution from.

I’ll admit Garcia is a stubborn turd nugget but he will flush. He’s made himself into a project.

If Eswatini political class has even a fraction of the love for you that ours inexplicably does…they might elect you President.

His lawyers will file an emergency injunction claiming asylum from Eswatini now. So this will be litigated in court and delayed no matter what.
