Opinion Trump administration in talks to send Venezuelan gang members to El Salvador prisons

Ah yes, the game of telling a a cult member that yes, they are delusional and ignorant of factual things. God's work I suppose.
You're literally arguing against a Supreme Court decision, as if your opinion should be taken more seriously. LOL.

No, they were silent on the constitutionality of the law. What they weren't silent was on the fact that Trump had violated the requirements of the law. Here's the majoritty opinion:

"AEA detainees must receive notice after the date of this order that they are subject to removal under the Act. The notice must be afforded within a reasonable time and in such a manner as will allow them to actually seek habeas relief in the proper venue before such removal occurs"

Remind everyone, did Trump do this when using the law?
He did that before their ruling.

What's wrong with expressing one's criticisms with court decisions? Take it or leave it, I can't help that you're ignorant of US history as a Canadian and have a toddler's knowledge of its laws and traditions.
He did that before their ruling.
When did he do it? He denied signing the law in the first place, so he was lying then? But the government's lawyers are now lying that they skipped hearings?

It only ever goes one way with you. That's why. These aren't serious complaints. You're just whining and crying that Trump is doing it. If a Democrat was doing it, you'd be spiking the ball and claiming that they care about the safety of Americans.

And yet, I'm on the side that the American Supreme Court decided.

Keep crying your eyes over gang members being deported, though. I'm sure the vast majority of Americans agree with you...

Checks out, as soon as the Trump supporter is askes for evidence, he tucks tale and deflects.

What does it only goes one way mean? It's not my fault originalism is an incoherent ideology for legal questions that readily provides double standards.

Nope, the fifth and 14th are among my favorite amendments, as is the first. I'm very consistent on those matters, regardless of who is infringing.

I'd personally reevaluate my legal positions if I ended up on the side of a corrupt justice who managed to find an originalist argument for interracial marriage but not gay marriage somehow. But you do you.

Lol what? All you did was spaz out about Trump saying he didn't sign it.
No, I pointed out that his lawyers openly admitted that hearings were nott given. Additionally, Trump signed the order in secret, which is already illegal in of itself.

Do you have any source for your preposterous claim that these folks were given a hearing as required by law before deportation?

I just said the deportations already happened before this ruling. Are you okay?

So your argument is that an executive is free to knowingly break the law until the Supreme Court intervenes? What a country you want to live in.

Innocent man thrown without due process into a torture dungeon and people eagerly gloating "Loop hole! Loop hole!" when confronted

Uh, the system is working as designed.

He says, while referring to the concept of judicial review, which was not what the US government was designed with in mind lol

I can understand a Canadian being bad at US history, but come on dude, Marbury v Madison. Did you forget what number pesident Madison was?

In this case the court upheld the law and added some provisions.

Not only that, but it SHOULD happen to certsin folks because that's how we know the whi- red blooded Americans are better than the bro- other people

And if Democrats were doing it, you'd twist yourself into a pretzel saying that they were following those standards. This is how you play your game. Nobody is fooled by your childish, inconsistent outrage.

No they didn't, the provision for due process is built into the law and the nation's historical use of itt.

Name an instance where Democrats are violating due process and the 5th, I'm happy to give my opinion on the case if I'm familiar with it.

Massive L for President Boasberg

I'm sure MAGA will brush this off as another "the democrats are after us!!!" Even though this dude was appointed by Bush and is respected among many conservatives including conservative Supreme Court judges lol
