TRT for "old" strikers.

I mean white skin has less melanin so the paler you are the more sun rays you take in. You can get more with less. Less blocking. But some days it's dark. Winter is always more depressing than summer.

Am I overreacting and some trt is not a big deal ? What would happen if I took it a little sometimes ? Do I get benefits and no negative effects ? How often ? Just like sometimes, is that low risk ?
How are you on the internet and apparently googling TRT and still need to ask this?
If you have low test-levels and it negatively impacts you, TRT is an option. You will need to use TRT pretty much forever, you'd either go back to your low natural levels or, since exogenous testosterone stops your natural production, have even lower levels after coming off. Other classic steroid side effects like high blood pressure or gyno probably won't be an issue on a therapeutic dose.
"A little sometimes" won't help you, especially not if you have decent natural levels. Just go ahead and blast a proper dose if you feel like using anabolics.

And how long do the benefits of that last ?
Probably depends on how you manage your hormones after coming off. You definitely can't sprinkle in anabolic steroids every now and then though.

I feel fine. Most noticeable difference is more clear focus and stabile mood no matter what the day brings.

Body fat down a little bit.

I am not crazy big dosage anyway.

But do far: more focus, clear mind, and more energy

I am your age and out of shape right now because of illness but there is no reason for me to go on TRT. First always take blood work and look if you actually have low T (I dont). Dont let a doc that profits financially make that evaluation. Keep in mind every intake of a drug has a price to pay . . With synthetic testosterone you increase your risk of cancer in general. There are no long term studies as the topic is too new and a direct correlation has been disproven but IGF-I and free testosterone are proven as clear enhancers of prostate cancer (enhances PSA) which one out of eight men gets more or less depending were you live.

You also have other factors to look out for like what if you cant use TRT anymore because of an illness but your natural production is shot dead. You will then have very serious complications like bone density loss...etc. If you grow older your cell division gets more and more faulty. Thats one of the reasons why lower TRT can be a health benefit in age. Nature is not stupid :-)

All in all I agree that TRT can help a lot from 50 onwards. But the definition of TRT is so loose and little researched that I would only get on TRT if you have health complications that are based on low TRT never just to enhance your performance.

Its never just a benefit. Rogan and others normalized it way too much while ignoring all that. I know 75 year old boxers being in very good shape without any synthetic hormones.
Agreed. I wouldn't recommend anyone take it unless they already have abnormally low levels and they've already made the necessary lifestyle changes to no avail.

Honestly, if you work out regularly, get enough sleep, eat clean and keep the booze to a minimum... You really shouldn't ever have to take trt. Unless if course you have some medical condition you can't control.

It's so weird how people use it because it's so normalized as a cheat code or something without considering the negatives.

The fact of the matter is that under most circumstances your T levels should still stay within a fairly high range until you hit your 60s. Then it dramatically decreases.

Your T levels begin drop by the time you are in your 30s.
Estimates are about 10% down by 40
40% by 60
And 75% by 70

Even I plan to take it by 55 or so. Of course I’ll do blood work first.

They do begin to drop but it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to fall below the normal range. If 300-1000 is considered normal... And you're still 600-700 in your 40s I'm not sure its worth the negatives to get it to like 800. Now if you are 45 and you're toiling around 300, then I can see going for it.

At the end of the day though, do what's best for you (and I say that generally speaking). Just my opinion
