Trout vs Hernandez on Sept.8(PBC on Fox Sport(Tuesday))

Ahmed is a good tv fighter.

Dat Brazilian chin.

Ref stopped it because of that crawl. Crawling makes you look way out of it. He was hurt pretty bad though.

Moret seems quick to stop fights at this point in his career.

I thought it was a good stoppage.. he was at 8 and the guy was stumbling.. Paulie is just talking shit...

"You don't have to be from the hood to be good".. I can't believe I just heard that shit on tv lol.. racialism yo

srsly, paulie talking shit?
dude knows the game better than you, bro.

shitty stoppage IMO.
but dude didn't help himself by doing the worm.

No harm at all in counting all the way to ten. If he's up you take a look and see what condition he's in. If he doesn't get up it's over. Stopping at eight is pointless.

Dat Brazilian chin.
Thought he could go to Mexico and develop one. It dont work that way.

Bad stoppage. After he stumbled he popped right up.
Not bad stoppage but too early.

Egyptian guy seems like a loser. Too corny for me.

I don't care if he knows it better than me.. there's somebody that knows the game better than him...which is most world class boxers... that would disagree with him..

That man layed flat on his back, struggled to balance himself on all 4's, and then stumbled when he stood between 8-9... that's a good stoppage.. you wanna keep fighting.. get up earlier..act like it...

So.. give him more time taking a look? The 10 seconds is the looking period.. taking more time is doing it wrong.

He was up by the 8 count.
Reffed waived it off at the 7 count.
Too early.
Ref saw him stumble and made a bad decision.

No it's not. Fighters get 10 seconds to get up. Then the ref wipes their gloves and checks if they can take a step forward and usually asks if they want to continue.

You know this.

That's shit refs.. The the 8 count was instituted to halt the action and give the ref a chance to look at a fighter.. Fighters used to wait just behind the ref for the opponent to get up and begin fighting immediately...
the count is being used wrong by dumb refs now.. in some cases, this has lead to enough recovery time for the opponent to make the difference in the fight..

J Rock-Trout would be nice.

Rd 1- 10-9 Trout
Landed punches.

Rd 2- 10-9 Trout
Joey having trouble landing.

Rd 3- 10-9 Trout
Joey's Cabbage patch isn't going to win him rounds.

I don't believe that you believe that at all.

You honestly want a guy to get up at the nine count and the ref to make sure the fight starts again in under one second rather then check to see if the fighter is alright to continue fighting? Seriously? You're against refs checking to see if someone can continue or not?

Boxing is a sport of brutality and I love it for that very reason but even I don't want to see that shit happening. I don't give a shit if someone gets a few extra seconds. Better that then the alternative.
