Any sherdogger who uses this?

I was watching an interview with a doctor who's got one and he said that he walks 27 km a day by the time he's finished working, that's more than a half marathon.

I think that cat from Bojack has one. She looks fit.

I like the standing desk idea, but I'm not sure about typing while walking. Seems like that would be a bit of a bitch. We'd all be posting nonsense like @bufetadanacara .

One of the radiologists I work with uses one. He's kind of a fitness freak to begin with, but when your job consists of sitting in a dark room reading thousands of digital images for ten hours a day, it's probably a nice option. He's definitely in much better shape than all the other radiologists that don't use one.

Can't fit that or a desk in your janitor closet OP. Jk dude. Seems like a neat idea but might have problems arise in practice.

I agree 100%

I have been looking down at monitors all day. Reports on one, drawings on another, sherdog shit talking on a third.

Your right, I should of went to the store and bought one of these.

tbh its probably a good idea, despite looking ridiculous

I feel like it would be a pain in the ass to type unless you are walking extremely slow.

It is stupid. Walking will be tiring and distracting while trying to concentrate on work.

I feel like it would be even more important to get the keyboard and monitor the right height.

I do like my standing desk though.

A sit to stand desk would be better than something that is always up high.

Combine in with this and it will do more for your body than a treadmill which is not the same as walking benefit wise:

I have a standing desk that can move up and down so I have the option to sit when I need to.

I really like the idea of a treadmill desk, but I don't want to be stuck using it all the time. There are times where I really need to concentrate and I prefer sitting during those times.

There's no easy way to tuck a giant treadmill out of the way when you're not using it. But once they figure that a solution for that then I'll buy one.
