Tbh have thought about this for years and the cage material needs to be transparent - is not that hard. Surely plastic is strong enough now, or it could be some kind of fibreglass thread or woven together.

Yeah, something heavy gauge like for Great Whites. Also there needs to be pit vipers released from underneath the center of the Octagon when fighters stall to encourage action, like a trap door.

The fence should be made of barbed wire. Try grabbing that when you're getting taken down.

Of course, the athletes might get some minor scratches when clinching against the fence, but that's a risk I'm willing to take.

I keep coming back to this but I would love plexiglass like in the NHL.

Imagine seeing a knockout finish standing where the guy dribbles the head off the plexi.

Might get foggy in there so they will need to have window cleaners that run around in-between rounds like the snow shovelers in the NHL.

Edit: Oh and I almost forgot, imagine all the blood stains on the glass. Would be pretty badass. Maybe we skip the window cleaners completely.
