What fuss about trans bathrooms? You realize that trying to retrofit essentially every public building in the country with extra bathrooms just for trans people (which I haven't even heard being proposed by anyone) is far different than just separating a small part of a prison that would have biological men that claim to be women housed, right?

There was loads of fuss from the right when schools were designating trans bathrooms claiming it was a massive waste of resources.

The realiity is were dealing with bigotry here and that bigotry will always find an excuse to hide behind, claims of sexual threat not back up by evidence, claims of preferential treatment, etc.

No bathrooms anywhere were "trans bathrooms" that I know of. They have gender neutral bathrooms, they never called them "trans bathrooms" LOL.

The reality is that in a lot of situations, biology still actually matters. It's not "bigotry" that I don't want an 18 year old biological male to be able to walk naked into a high school locker room shower where my teen daughter is and get away with "It's okay, I'm trans."

And you're fucked in the head if you find that situation acceptable. Full stop.

Transwomen ARE women so they do have rights. So don't know what you're talking about transphobe.

MTF transsexuals either A. Should pass enough to not be noticed or B. Should use the male restroom looking like a male which was the norm until this nonsense took off.

Edit. Thought you were talking about bathrooms at the top there. My response on prisons is that all males have it bad in prison. Putting males with gender dysphoria in female prisons in not a solution. Even with the small numbers that have done this there have still been problems with women being victimized. That says a lot.

Some intellectuals who criticize the transactivists have proposed that it is truly possible that hatred of women is behind some of the movements positions.

It does seem to be streamlined to s*** on most of women's rights that women have fought for over the last 50 or 60 years.
