This must be one of those conservative 'grift' youtube channels I keep hearing about.

Starts out with two people doing NPR voice begging for money then edits the video to be as enraging as possible, leaves comments on and refuses to engage with commentors.

Pure grift setup.

It's weird how this has to be explained over and over.

If you're a biological male that wants to live as a woman (or vice versa)...fucking go for it.

However:

No, you shouldn't be allowed to bring your "female penis" into a woman's prison. You shouldn't get to crush biological women in athletic competition if you're a biological male. You shouldn't get to be an 18 year old biological male high school student that is allowed to strip naked in front of 14 year old girls in the locker room and then say "It's fine, I'm trans". You shouldn't be someone who's okay with pumping confused children full of drugs to fuck with their body chemistry so you can be viewed as "an ally".

The "fire" is all this extraneous bullshit that's trying to be normalized and anyone who dares question it is shouted down with accusations of "BIGOT!" Put out this fire, and only a few fringe people will care at all about whether Steve is now Sally or Heather is now Heath.

If you are wondering why there are no quality debates on this topic between scholars, it is because the transactivists have refused to debate. All of the important organizations who are involved in transactivism have refused to meet anyone on an even playing field where others can analyze their arguments. They claim they will not meet people in debates because anyone who debates their ideas is a bigot!!! But I think it is because their arguments fall apart and our self-contradictory. I think they know this and hide behind the accusations of bigotry.

But here we have at least one real scholar on the trans side willing to debate and he should be commended. I would be interested to hear what any honest person thinks after listening to this exchange. As usual, it did not go well at all for the transactivists.

When you're describing the existence of trans people as a "fire" to be "put out", you are using the language of genocide. And anyone outside of your trans dick obsessed circle jerk can see that bud.
 
Definition of genocide:

the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.


Trannies are neither a nation nor an ethnic group, they are mentally ill freaks who come in all shapes, sizes and colours but mostly white and middle class.

But yet Fred(a) is insisting he smashed it in that debate the delusion clearly runs very deep......the only disappointing thing was Helen didn't challenge him on the pictures he sent of himself being fellated in some grotty dungeon to a disabled woman who had the temerity to disagree with him .

Except it isn't the existence of trans people, which was just described to you very plainly. It's the existence of things like forcing biological males into female prisons, locker rooms, etc.

I don't care that trans people exist. In fact, when I interact with them I'm courteous and friendly the same way I would be to anyone else. I don't necessarily understand it, but I don't understand a myriad of mental illnesses and that wouldn't stop me from treating someone who had one with respect and courtesy. That is much different than those pushing for biological males to be allowed to compete in women's sports.

The fact that you can't understand the difference and instead try to flail about and yell "OMG genocide!!" shows a pretty severe lack of emotional intelligence.

Not to mention...nobody is advocating trying to kill them at all. That guy took the "fire" analogy and spazzed out acting as though the person meant he wanted the systematic murder of all trans people to take place.

They are overly emotional, highly strung reactionaries. The same people who would claim Trump was "literally Hitler" for writing mean tweets.

That debate was an absolute dismantling of the transactivist positions. It was almost embarrassing to watch.

I'm not surprised at all how weak and incoherent Freds arguments were , but I expected a bit more from Tatchell than stuff about gendered clothing really pitiful stuff from someone I suspect has painted himself into a corner on this issue and can't now find a way out .

What is pathetic about these people's arguments is that they always come down to accusing you of being a bigot rather than just dealing with the arguments and it's because ultimately their arguments don't stand up and all they have is to accuse you of bigotry.

This is one of those issues that simply will not stand the test of time or the light of day. We're just in a process of it coming to light.

I agree with you about the other guy too, the scholar, because he's a pretty decent person. He is wrong and you can see how frustrated he gets trying to make his positions sound logical when they are not, but at least he's a pretty good person and didn't accuse everyone of bigotry nearly as much as the Fred guy. And yet he did frame the whole issue in the light of slavery or racism when they're really not comparable issues at all.

The trans woman basically became profoundly vulgar and disgusting and said that the people right now arguing against her would f*** her in private. She even directly referenced her female penis while saying such vulgar things . She guaranteed those people would f*** her . And I could not help thinking that that person did not even deserve to be on stage with Helena Joyce but because travosrock and mermaids refuse to debate because of being afraid of debate, you're left with debating people like that... I did not know about him sending pictures of himself to some crippled lady, but it sure doesn't surprise me based on the way he spoke.

The more you can get people like this to debate the more they will undermine their own positions in public perception.
