If you have seen TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, how would you rate it?

I've often seen people say they liked the first one but didn't like the sequels.

Thing is, I didn't even like the first one and thought it was pretty disappointing. So I stopped there.

If the sequels are in fact worse, then they are poor films indeed.

People like you are the reason they are still making those movies. You don't even like it but are still putting money in their pockets. Next time spend that money on some indie movie that looks good instead.

My friend invited me, I hadn't seen him for a long ass time, so I went. I remembered the first film was alright, and thought "f**k it, let's go".

But yeah, I should have just met up after the movie and had some drinks.

I didn't like the first one and yet I still saw 2 through 4 -- because I'm a beta cuck.

Sorry to bump this abomination, but I watched this movie Sunday and figured I would voice my opinion.

Opinion: One of the worst movies I have ever seen.

This movie was atrocious. Everything from the dialogue, to the editing, to the casting. Everyone who had anything to do with this movie should feel bad.

Hoping the reboot (which albeit will be too soon) gets some of this right.

I love the Transformers series, but they are the perfect example of going downhill with each subsequent movie released.

Also saw the newest Pirates movie and thought it was bad. Lucky I saw IT this weekend, which definitely earned an easy 8/9 outta 10 for me and saved my weekend.

I honestly feel like this movie has been unfairly rated because of how bad all the other ones have been
By no means was this a good movie, but I've read so many reviews that marked this movie as THE WORST EVER, and I just can't agree.
Keep in mind that the Transformers, FF movies, and other such big and loud summer blockbuster movies are not my type of films at all.

There was definitely some of the usual bad dialogue and casting, but by this point, you have to know what you're getting into when you see Transformers, just like when you watch a FastnFurious movie. For what this movie is, i thought it was fine.
The King Arthur/Merlin thing was something new, as was the Cybertron connection. And oddly enough, what helped the movie the most was that there was a larger focus on the people of the movie (particularly Wahlberg and the other lady) instead of the 1 dimensional Transformers.
The black guy was absolutely horrible though. I don't know whose life he saved or threatened to land such a significant role in such a big movie, but he was just god awful.
And despite the terrible lines Hopkins had to say, i really didn't mind it because he looked like he was enjoying it.
Id give this movie a 5.

I feel like there is a lot of this going around lately. Writing has slid off overall in Hollywood, imo.
Agreed. But I finally got around to watching the first half of this turd, and it is a new low.

There's something wrong with whomever pes the scripts for Transformers films. Everybody is obnoxious. Virtually every exchange which occurs between human characters involves at least one of them being a whint bitch or a total wanker. Most of the actual Transformers are about as lovable as JarJar Binks. I just find almost every bit of dialogue either grating or embarrassingly overdone.

The story is total bollocks too. Well, the first half. After Megatron bargained to have his crew returned to him in a quite bizzarre scene (why the hell these genuinely dangerous bots were imprisoned when other Transformers were killed on sight is not explained) and they had names like 'Dreadbot' and 'Nitro Zeus', I was done.

Nothing made sense. Nothing seemed to have a point. The characters were (as they have been in every film after the first one) totally loathesome. It was an incoherent mess. Even the action doesn't move the needle, it's ham-fistedly done and curiously numbing to watch.

Just ghastly.
