If you have seen TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, how would you rate it?

Marky Mark should give a percentage of every dime he makes to that Asian guy he blinded.

Lol at everyone's reviews and drop in viewers. Safe to say it's worse than the last one? And I came here to shit all over that movie after having to watch that pos last year. Quite the accomplishment topping that steaming turd.

If I remember correctly.. Megatron's head was still in the possession of TSI in AoE and Galvatron was still alive. Fast forward to this movie and Megatron is back together and no Galvatron to be found?
In Age of Extinction, Megatron took full control of the Galvatron body while inside the K.S.I. Industries facility. Megatron then took control of the other K.S.I. Transformer drones and then went to Hong Kong to get the Seed.

Not really. He's in full Jason Statham mode.
Wahlberg's collaboration with Peter Berg aren't bad either.

Michael Bay has been on autopilot churning out these crap for the past couple of years. The guy was never Oscar caliber, but he is capable of putting out some decent stuff (The Rock, Armageddon and Pain & Gain). Hopefully he gets back into form, or his career is going down the dumpster fire.
I also like The Island.

So I finally finished watching the movie, and it only took me 4 days. Could not watch it in 1 sitting/

What a turd of a movie. And only reason I even watched it was cause everyone said it is a colossal turd, so was curious at just how bad it is.

Anthony Hopkins should feel dirty and ashamed.

Don't know why people keep judging good actors that want to make some money in their old days by acting in blockbusters or bad movies. Pacino, DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Hopkins, Connery and numerous others do it. Let them be. They've paid their dues.

Should i kill myself in 20 years, when i get slower and cannot do my job as efficiently as I do it now (or 5 years ago). No, i will still work, and do my job. Same as each and every one of those actors. They do their job, and people still give them jobs. IMO no shame in that.

Your analogy doesn't work, because even if you do your job slower, one assumes you would still be doing it right.

One would think that someone of Hopkin's standing would not lend himself to such garbage movies.

This. Michael Caine was asked why chose to do The Swarm, widely regarded as one of the worst films ever made. Caine replied, "Because that film bought a new house for my mother".

The first film was the only decent one of the series.

Yea I remember thinking the first one looked like trash. Caught it on TV one day and liked it. Literally been so disappointed with every single one since then. #2 was half way decent but after that they are some of the worst movies I've ever seen. I can't believe these are still being made honestly. Half the time I don't even understand what's going on.

He also did Jaws: The Revenge and said, "I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

Has any connoisouer of shit movies seen this yet? How does it stack up to say Sharktopus or Atlantic Rim?

exactly. Colbert asked Freeman why he's doing some TV stuff, due to the fact he made his name on the big screen to which Freeman replied "It pays too".

I don't think it's their fault, but rather ours. We tend to hold them to such high standard and basically put them on a makebelieve pedestal due to (basically) portrayal of a certain character, so sometimes we forget that they are people too. People with flaws, financial needs, or just bored sitting at home, waiting for a new "Silence of the lambs" or "Driving Miss Daisy". After some time, offers just stop coming.

I find it hard to believe i will be able to work as good of a job in my 60s. Will I consider that (working subpar work) so beneath me and go to an early retirement? Hell no, i think i'll earn the right for a few easy years at that point. What am i supposed to do? Curl up and die?

OK, maybe my analogy is wrong, but i can use the analogy of 99% of prize fighters. Why do we feel the need to judge e.g. Cro Cop or Shamrock fighting nowdays, once their prime has passed. Apart from the fighting spirit, is it so hard to understand that they want some money. Why not get paid for an easy fight or a commercial for a BS product, as they've sweat and bleed their entire lives, they deserve an easy pay here and there.

Just my $0.02

I don't blame the actors. All of the actors were fine. It was the writing.

Ugh ... No real story line, just a bunch of people who I don't even know their names looking for some generic McGuffin, to solve some kind of mystery I don't give an ish about.

The action scenes and special effects were nothing special, I've seen explosions before in movies, nothing new. Just cutting from one scene to another ... first there is a big transformer fight in America, 2 minutes later, they are in England, 2 minutes later they are teleported into a submarine, then 2 minutes later they are fighting in Stonehenge ... UGH ... Just too much, just stop!! ... so disjointed.

I remember watching the first Transformers movie, like 10 years ago and finding it watchable. It was new, the special effects were cool and the story line wasn't that complicated.

1/10.

I'm not surprised, motherfuckers.

The Transformers movie was cool when it first came out, but went down hill after that.

People like you are the reason they are still making those movies. You don't even like it but are still putting money in their pockets. Next time spend that money on some indie movie that looks good instead.

Cue angry mob.
