My only gripe with this figure is that Wolverine didn't have adamantium claws in the WWII era. His claws are actually bone, but coated in adamantium which didn't happen until decades later.
They need to retcon that bone claw nonsense. Just say metal the whole time after Weapon X program.

Got me a ML '77 live action Spider-Man in the store at Walmart for $35+. If I had ordered online when they put it back for pre-order after canceling original pre-orders, it would have cost me $50+ with location surcharge and shipping. The blue is not bright and vivid. The box back doesn't show what the contents should be. They had two full pegs, so after mine, ten left. They weren't there yesterday. Had to run an errand today so went again. Now if only I could watch the '77 TV show.

On reddit, seems like people's Magic TG Spider-Man hips are snapping off due to Hasbro using some weird square hip peg.

The newest Haslab is up.

I'm not feeling it...

The Apocalypse looks cool and it's a 12-inch figure.

Really dig the overpriced Apocalypse but ain’t no way.

Well , popped out yesterday to a town nearby, it's odd , there's a population of 7000 but it has 2 retro toy shops ( with a bit of modern stuff too) . They must sell a lot of stuff online as they can't support themselves in walk in trade only .

I bought Amazing Spiderman 1 n 2 on Blu-ray from a charity shop. In the toy shops I found a Thundercats Monkiman for £31 , I don't collect Thundercats figures but one of the nerd friends does and she wanted it so I grabbed it for her ....

Lego C3PO arrived yesterday and ML Secret Wars Wolverine Thursday.

So , I went out today with a pocket full of cash left over from Friday...

I came back with a copy of Marvel What If featuring Dazzler and another one of these -

I have one already that will stay on the card and the new one will ( STRYCHNINE LOOK AWAY NOW) be opened up to play and pose with my Spider-Man figures ....

Good point , well made.

Funny , the thing that irked me is the Ka-bar knife that has a tanto point. It might be comic accurate , I don't know...

It's not. In the "Hellhunters" limited series, Peggy Carter, Sgt. Sebastian Szardos (The soldier supreme), Bucky, Logan (who was with the Canadian military), and the WWII Ghost Rider, all used U.S. equipment to beat back a demonic invasion that allied with the nazis (naturally).

In it, Logan was using U.S. K-Bar style knives.

No idea why they went with the Tanto style. Cheaper manufacturing process?

That might be the one that one Don Quijote store here has a huge human being sized statue of in their Gunpla section. The other store has RX-78.

Price?

$35 on Amazon. My Walmart has very little when it comes to Gundam. Target has a good selection, but I haven't been there in a good minute.

It worked yesterday.

<Fedor23>

Try this one.

Yea, I was getting the 404 message.

I blame the tariffs . :)

It is listing him as 12" but in line with the 7" figure range. So , it's kind of like the Apocalypse figure size wise with accessories. Although I've read it's ( Bane) is also 10inch

Hmm....kind of getting the ripped off feeling....

So these guys arrived earlier this week and I've been doing one each day.

Brand: Loyratche
Price: $39.98 (on sale for $33.98) on Amazon
Pieces: 1448 total, each one between 345-385

These are all smaller than what I usually build with the lower piece count and only around 5 1/2-6" tall.

They are more of a toy or play style vs the model/display but they still look really good.

All graphics are printed and the mini figs all have printing on the legs and both sides of the bodies. Each one has a cool shoulder pad and helmet. The body and leg connection is loose on all of them though.

The mechs themselves are all pretty cool and look like they would transform (they don't) with some nifty weapons (the dark green one isn't designed well at all though).

One issue I had on all of them is the lower torso/hips exploded when putting the legs on. They went together so tight, but on all but the white one the hips are loose on at least one of the legs. The lower legs have issues coming apart.

The connections are actually decent, they just didn't use enough connecting points (most only 1 or 2 when they needed double that). Easy enough fix with some glue if I decided to.

They are surprisingly pretty posable even with the loose hip joints. You just have to get the center of gravity right.

I think the pale green one is my favorite. Really dig the arm cannon and overall style. This would be a tank I'm assuming.

The white one with the twin rotors is good too. Not a huge fan of the weapons. This is some sort of hover craft.

I thought I was going to like the green and yellow one more. It's a helicopter mech. It has the loosest hip joints which sucks. It was the first one I built.

The dark green would be so much cooler with a different weapon. The legs have tracks on them which look super cool (13 segments on each one) that move, and the belt from the back connecting to the weapon is a nice touch. The gun itself is just really plain, and the only point of connection from the handle to the main body of the gun is a single small stud.

The price was really good for what I got and I don't regret the purchase. The fragility is a bit annoying, but that's why I have glue.

Overall 7/10.

Only took a few pics. If you want to see more detail on any certain one let me know :)

Hover craft and treaded dude. Not sure what the weapons for the white one are supposed to be.

Tank and Helicopter. Really like the "cage" for the cockpit on the pale green one. It's kinda hard to see, but there are 3 more rotors like you see in the hand of the helicopter guy on its back.

Mini fig mech pilots.
Left to right - white mech - dark green mech - pale green mech - green and yellow mech.

Nahhh, I think you'll be ok. :)

This is my original Bane along with a soft-goods Batman. I think they kept the same mold for Bane and just did a repaint on the trousers and added the fluorescent paint where needed for detail.

I mean, I'm not a DC guy , Marvel is my go to but when you look at the price of that Bane and the size of it I feel a little bit " ggggrrrr" towards Hasbro...

Shame they don't have Apocalypse cheaper or two options , maybe one with accessories and one without at two price points but that would also involve having two boxes etc I guess..

Haven't really seen Gundam Universe at Walmart or Target in quite a while and no Gunpla at Target in ages.

If you could swap out his lightsaber with a katana, that'd be perfect. If you ever get the chance to read Savage Sword Of Conan issue #184 "Disciple" ? DO IT. It's like it was plucked from Robert E. Howard's brain. I picked it up back in High School and I still have it. Amazing story!

Here's a link to where you can read it online.

Never read a Conan comic before. That was long. What was that about? He trains them, then at the end they fight him to the death, but he just maims each of them?

Does that site have ROM?

That was about their being trained in the ways of the real world and with real combat. Where they came from, everything was structured, so their Lord sent them to Conan to be trained as he trained Conan. Their custom was to see if they surpassed Conan as he was their master.

Think of it like when Anakin killed Count Dooku in front of Palpatine. In the Sith culture, the student slays the master (if they can) and take their place.

Conan actually grew to love those three and since he knew he'd probably never see them again, he chose to maim vs. kill. They'll go home, overcome their handicaps, and...
Live.

As far as ROM the spaceknight? I don't know if they have it.
