Actually the GIJ CS Lifeline head, from the Amazon product listing pic, looks like Jim Caviezel(?) from Person of Interest.

Finally getting around to posting my Prime Days pick ups.

Brand: JMBricklayer
Series: Five Tiger Generals
Name(s): Zhao Yun (white) Huang Zhong (real
Piece(s): Zhao 707, Huang 756 (not sure if this includes the stand)
Both were around $31 each.
Stickers: None
Missing pieces: None

Instructions for both were really easy to follow and well laid out. Each had 3 main bags with smaller bags inside, and then some extra bags with the larger weapon pieces and metallic ones. Huang also had two bags for the stand with separate Instructions (really wish both had a stand).

One super color part about the instructions is they have a small story explaining the history of the general. Some of the wording on the translations are... off, but I'm going to assume they are accurate.

Starting with Zhao, I wasn't sure I'd like him but he turned out better than I expected. Really like the light blue accent color and the silver pops.

Joints are a bit loose at the hips and ankles. The torso can tilt and rotate. I did add a piece on each side of his head just to help keep it together a bit better.

While his weapon looks cool, it's very top heavy and the hands don't grasp it particularly well (both have this problem).

Huang is awesome. I am a sucker for a bow, and this one is cool. Has dual strings which were a bit of a pain to tie off, but I managed. Having 2 arrows is a bonus.

I wish the read were a bit deeper in color, but with the gold accents he looks great.

The stand is decent, but the connection point is a bit loose. It is nice to have since you can do at least some more action type poses.

Really did the head, and the little monocle is a nice touch. The shoulder pauldrons are well designed so the don't hinder positioning the arms.

The upper and lower body are super light and still really solid. The joints are much better compared to Zhao.

Really glad I picked up both (Zhao is sold out) and there are 2 more I will probably pick up to complete the series.

Overall I'd give Zhao Yun an 8/10, and Huang Zhong an 8.5(maybe a 9)/10.

Only 1 pick, but if you'd like more I'm happy to oblige.

I'm now curious about what the Electric Company Spider-Man looked like and if Hasbro will make one. Don't remember it well.

Watched some youtube vids on the Ultimate Legends Naruto smaller figure and Anime something bigger Naruto figures and I guess I don't need to be buying those. The smaller one looked ok but fell apart easily.

I got the Saturnine starter set for the new edition of Warhammer: Horus Heresy and have been pretty damn disappointed so far. I've assembled the two characters and had nothing but issues. GW's kits can be criticized for being over-priced (they are), but I've never had fitment issues like this for any of their modern kits. The assembly instructions were straight up wrong on one character (it was physically impossible to put together in the order specified, I had to rip a partially-set joint apart to fit the two haves and then smoosh them back together) and the suggested order of assemble for the other was not ideal and led to a couple parts not being in the exact right position. I'm pretty pissed about it, because these two characters retail for $40 and $53 (though, as part of the set they are discounted by 50% and online retailers typically give another 15% on top of that for $17 and $22.50 -- much more reasonable, though still pricey for what they are). I'm hoping the big dreadnought and standard infantry are better.

And the rules book. It's a high quality hardcover that, physically, I have no complaints about. But the actual rules writing itself...not good. Organization isn't great, but the real problem with it is the language: it is so overly-specific that it undermines the readability. They're trying to be 'professional' about it, but in the process end up repeating thing that don't need to be repeated to the point where it interferes with your ability to quickly understand what it means. I think they're trying to make it proof against rules-lawyers, but they just went too damn far with it.

The news showed a Lego CT scan or was it MRI scan set for a kid with bad medical problem. It seemed to have a hospital room bathroom in addition to the scan machine. I think they said it connects to iPad app to make CT scan noises.

I like the pair of them but don't know enough about the Inhumans to feel the need to grab the pair of them. Maybe if the price drops I might go for them.

I've got a sad story about the Inhumans... If you're born without powers, you're exposed to the terrigen mists so that you will gain an ability.

No matter the outcome. :(

So you turn into a large dog walking around looking up skirts , sniffing crotches and sleeping.....hmmm....

I think Disney+ has some old Fantastic Four cartoons and at least a few episodes have Inhumans. Several yrs ago Amazon had ML Black Bolt maybe a bit cheap and I was trying to find the old cartoons to get hyped up to order Black Bolt even though the armpit wings looked whack.

Thieves steal crown jewels in 4 minutes from Louvre Museum

Police Break Up Lego Theft Ring, Recovering Hundreds of Beheaded Figurines

Officials said they had discovered tens of thousands of Lego pieces at a California home and arrested a man who trafficked in the stolen collectibles.

When detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department arrived at a house in Lake County, Calif., on Monday, they discovered what looked like a Lego crime scene.

Plastic figurines were everywhere, their heads removed from their bodies and organized in neat rows by facial expression.

Tubs and bins brimmed with loose pieces — tens of thousands of them, according to the police — and were scattered across desks in the living room.

Unopened sets lined the hallway floors.

An investigation that began last month culminated in the arrest of Robert Lopez, 39. The police said in a statement on Wednesday that Mr. Lopez had stolen more than $6,000 worth of the popular toys.

The police said that when they visited Mr. Lopez’s garage, it had about 100 assembled mini figures displayed on shelves, along with unopened sets and broken-down packaging.

“The scene suggested systematic sorting and potential resale activity, consistent with fencing operations involving high-demand collectible items,” the police said.

$6,000??? That's like 20 sets.

First time at a Walmart since last time when I bought ML '77 Spider-Man and this was a different Walmart and they had 3 copies of '77 Spider-Man. Didn't check the price, but other normally $24.99 figures were much higher.

I'm not a big fan of Harley Quinn, but these are cool.

Went to Walmart today.. $34.99 for G.I. Joe's? Oh hell no.
Mine usually is like 50% higher than Amazon price. I'm guessing what you saw was a deluxe GIJ CS figure like maybe Budo the samurai armor guy that came with an extra set of alternate samurai armor that could be used on some other blank figure.
