I need more info on this weenie pic. What’s it called? The year? Issue it’s from? Whatever you can tell me. Would look cool in my retro room.

When I first saw early leaks/rumors about mini comic, I assumed it was something I could read, not 6" scale comic book. Want Rom, will skip Banshee since I have the 275 version which isn't the Giant Size version. Also want Maximum Spidey which I assume I won't be able to pre-order before bots do.

Yea, I think I'll grab 2 ROMs , will probably get the Spidey too and retro Jean Grey . Obviously if I can order them here ...

It's from an old card set: 1995 Fleer Ultra X-Men. Spring Break Wolverine card number 149.

At Target, I saw for the very first time any Super7 ReAction+ o-ring GI Joe: Ramar and Fatal Fluffy. Looked like a fresh single case on the shelf. Didn't see Duke or Serpentor which I think Reddit posters bought a bit more than one week ago. Bought Ramar, skipped Fatal Fluffy. Some huge barbarian might come in handy in the 1:18 scale population.

Also, just noticed HULU now has Macross 7, Macross Frontier, Macross Zero, Macross Plus. Recently I saw an article saying Netflix had most of Macross, but didn't find any there when I searched.

I just need to read or re-read the old Marvel Rom comics to get the fever going. I think when I had Marvel Unlimited, I started reading some modern Rom related comic, but didn't get far. The originals weren't available.

Nope. Licensing issues. I get that question a lot.

Went back to Target to see if the Super7 ReAction o-ring GI Joe Ramar and Fatal Fluffy sold out to gauge demand and how hard it's gonna be to find in stores. Looked like they still had 3x Ramar and 4x Fatal Fluffy, so I'm guessing I bought the only unit in 24 hours. Someone did mess with them since they weren't all standing on the shelf as they were when I found them. Maybe these two characters were too obscure for most.

Didn't find Duke or Serpentor.

EDIT: Five days after I first saw Ramar and Fatal Fluffy, Target still had 2x Ramar and 1x FF. Assuming it's from the original case. I guess there's some demand, but not crazy demand for these characters. The GIJ CS seems to sell.

Despite my general dislike for metal models (superglue is obnoxious and any poor fitment is a pain in the ass to correct) I caved and am going to get back into collecting Infinity models. My first addition is a Szalamandra:

I did a dry-fit and it seems to go together pretty nicely, but it's complicated enough that, if I want to do a decent paintjob, it'll have to be painted in sub-assemblies. I might start on it this weekend and see how far I get.

Do you recommend painting before or after assembly?

Sometimes I come to this thread and think what a bunch of nerds y'all are. Then I remember I participate here too, and it's very humbling lol.

I've said this before - I first came into this thread years ago thinking I was gonna end up making fun of people. I still check in a couple times a week, I have zero interest in buying toys etc myself but for some reason I can't stop looking at it. And i've still never made fun of anyone!

It depends on the model and what your goals are with it. The pose of the model can make getting a brush on certain areas really difficult. If those spots will still be readily visible, then painting as subassemblies will be your best bet. But if it's just some line-infantry model that you need to paint a dozen of then your tolerance for what's acceptable tends to change. In this case, the Szalamandra is a high value model compared to infantry (both points in game and comparative dollars spent) so its worth the time to do the best job I can on it.

I've bought so many transformers related toys that I've put a moratorium on myself and my friends/family during christmas/birthdays
