I've always wanted to go to Wales! I saw a picture of a rugby match between a USAF base team and A Japanese team. There was a photo of a fist flush along the jaw of a player.

After that, I was like, "Yeahhhh, I'm good just watching, thanks." :)

If that's the photo I think it is , it's a photo of a rugby match between a Japanese University team and Cambridge University.

My 40k sets showed up and I'm super impressed with the knights. GW tends to oversell (and overprice) the quality of its models; I wouldn't go so far as to call this knight kit 'worth the money,' especially compared to some of the stuff Bandai does with its Gundams, but this is the most modeler-friendly kit I think I've ever seen from them. The legs are keyed for a default pose, but its done in a way that the key can be cut off and they can be posed however you want. And the pistons are actually made like pistons so they can be slid to the correct length to match your chosen pose. The other knight kits aren't like that, if you want a different pose out of those kits you need to get your razor saw and styrene out and start hacking it up.

@Kardashians

Those are some selfish high heels. ;)

Those heels are often the topic of conversation. This generation Monster High has made most of their heels into objects. Sometimes it’s cool, other times looks stupid, but they’re going overkill on it.

I’ve ordered my Egyptian gal, but she won’t be released until the 27th. Been impatiently waiting. Fucking Canada.

You had some good stuff, rare to see older games and consoles with their boxes and everything too. I still keep an old tube TV around to play the retro consoles. Some new TVs still have the composite hookups but the image quality is pretty shitty unless you upgrade to an expensive converter like you mentioned.

I like emulation well enough especially for the quality of life upgrades like being able to fast forward or save anywhere, but it still feels different than playing on original hardware.

Sold my retro video game collection today. Feeling sort of wistful about it, but I think it was the right decision. Most of it had been in storage for 20+ years and you can't even hook any of it up to a modern television without buying a converter (and the good ones aren't cheap). Emulation is so good today that I could play any of my stuff (PS2 and earlier) on the computer and it'll be just as good as native -- actually better, in some respects.

But I did keep my GBC and Pokemon Red. I don't have it in me to plug it in and see if the save battery is still functional, but bulbasaur and his friends live on in my heart.

I was looking at the Wednesday Adams figure and the chainsaw doll and going.....hmmm......

That's opening a whole case of worms

I KNOW!!!! I've seen some crazy awesome Barbies out in the wild, but I was like.. NOOOOOOPE!!!! But that Afro though!!!!!!

I mean, I bought the Wednesday LEGO figure already and a silly plaque from Halloween for about $1 today that is cool ...

yeah that one

it's a big fucker
I was just thinking the next GI Joe Haslab has to be super good or I need to skip due to these things taking up too much space. Need to throw away boxes too.

As a kid, I was limited by budget, ability to go toy hunt, no such thing as internet pre-ordering. Now there's almost no limit except for ability to complete a pre-order before it all sells out in 2 minutes.

I saw pics of upcoming Mattel collab GI Joe Mega Construx Skystriker vs. HISS Tank and I like the Mega minifigs, but don't know if I want to cross Mega with Lego. Might buy.

Also saw leaks of Super7 ReAction+ o-ring Wave 2 being cartoon Duke, cartoon Serpentor, Ramar, Fatal Fluffy. Definitely will try to buy Duke and Serpentor, maybe Ramar.

Keep the box! Keep the box! Keep the box!!!

If you resell, the box is half the money!
