I bought a few of those Marvel series 2 minifigs and those are the exact 5 I got.. Hawkeyes, Beast, She-Hulk, & fish tank Moon Knight.

I got the whole set, but they screwed up an I didn't get Were-Wolf by Night and got two of the Moon Knights.

That Book set is bigger than I thought it would be too. I'm looking forward to that one.

I've been taking some pictures of my game collection. Figured I'd post some after teasing it earlier.

Consoles. I believe that they're all CIB except the PS1, which is missing its controller and paperwork. Also pretty sure that the NES is missing a controller but it hasn't been opened in ~30 years and I've been too busy to open each box for detailed pics.

Gameboy. All CIB, and the FF and GnG games are so good that they might actually be worth grading.

Nintendo 64. I'd have to double check, but I'm pretty sure they're all CIB, but some might not have all the inserts (and there's the obvious loosies).

Playstation 1. The Tales of Destiny 1 was bought used back in the day and is missing its manual, which sucks. At least the ToD2 is complete with inserts ($$$).

Sold my retro video game collection today. Feeling sort of wistful about it, but I think it was the right decision. Most of it had been in storage for 20+ years and you can't even hook any of it up to a modern television without buying a converter (and the good ones aren't cheap). Emulation is so good today that I could play any of my stuff (PS2 and earlier) on the computer and it'll be just as good as native -- actually better, in some respects.

But I did keep my GBC and Pokemon Red. I don't have it in me to plug it in and see if the save battery is still functional, but bulbasaur and his friends live on in my heart.

They may have, but Pokemon Red is an OG GB game and used a coin-cell. Should be long dead by this point.

I have no interest in the Marvel movie Legends figures but those do look damn good, better the more I see them....


Anyway, I have a pass this weekend to pop to Cardiff, Wales to watch rugby on Sunday with my son who is studying at Uni and I'm going down tmrw early to go around shopping.


There's like 3 or 4 dedicated nerd shops , a Lego store , 3 other places that sell action figures and tees and games plus charity shops, clothes shops and a huge book shop .


I'm not sure if I have got enough money....

I think I'm gonna need this new McF DC 7" Page Punchers Shazam, but a bunch I pre-ordered at full price ended up dirt cheap and available now dirt cheap. The head also is kinda I dunno. Soft goods cape.

Well I saw the X-Men school today and as my missus says, I thought it would be bigger.....looks good but for some reason in my mind it was a lot larger...

Anyway, I ended up with 3 Pops ,






Like you know , I'm not a huge Pop fan, gotta tick the boxes of cheap enough and a character I want or at least one that I see and go " yes".


MJ , well it's Spidey universe and was a buy as it wasn't a stupid price.

Captain Marvel, heavily discounted and I just like the look. At £15 I would ignore it.


And the last one? Well , I know I'm getting the bad pop head robot , Maximilian from The Black Hole for Christmas from my mother . This one however, I was in a retro toy shop and had picked up a few copies of 2000 ad ( British comic) and was looking at a few bits and pieces and saw him in the flesh and not on eBay for the first time.

Haggled a bit and ended up with him for about $45 which is a stupid price but I've seen him more expensive than that and I wanted him .


Ended up in a comic shop nearby and dropped a fair amount of cash on Marvel Conan the Barbarian, a single issue of ROM and loads of Micronauts comics .

Really loved the vibe in the shop , guy running it was chill and a couple of other comic guys came in and just started nattering about comics with me. Will deffo be going back.
