One GIJoburg host is in Australia. You may want to start listening to this podcast as well as Full Force which pretty thoroughly covers GI Joe toys and that host is tight with the Hasbro people and lives in the same area as Hasbro and some of their employees.

I forgot to mention, possibly easier to get in the Asia region HIYA Toys Exquisite 4" GI Joe figures for around $19.99 each. So far they made figures that are mostly shrunken down versions of the 6" GI Joe Classified designs. I don't have any since it sounds like they are difficult to buy in USA and kinda expensive. I would like to try at least one. They did Snake Eyes, Stormshadow, Beachhead, Cobra Commander, Baroness, Major Bludd, maybe Destro, Firefly. I'm sure one of the GI Joe fan sites has a complete list. Actually see HIYA's website for list and pics of each. $24.99 each. Didn't see any I wanted.

Did you try checking your region's version of Amazon.com? Maybe Amazon Japan?

Have you considered something like Marauder Task Force to make your own custom Joes? I think they have an upcoming bare torso and I'm hoping to make a custom Quick Kick with it. I already have black pants for it, but no barefeet. I did order a sword since V1 Quick Kick had a sword. I made a Flint, Firefly, Beachhead.

Have you ever heard of JOYIN? Does your area have a Chinatown? Maybe there's a toy store that sells the JOYIN AV-8B Harrier or F/A-18 Hornet in 1/18 scale. The Harrier looks good.

Raiding my parents house and managed to complete and add some more Joe's, heres the complete lot currently:

Will check a bunch of your suggestions out. Although will try to mainly stick with the 90s stuff probably end up going 80s too but will stop their otherwise I get out of control with stuff haha.

Those customs though sound great!

If you need to replace o-rings, I ordered from Amazon and can dig out the specs. It gets complicated due to outer diameter, durameter flexibility, etc.

Hasbro said the recent o-ring figures use some sort of silicone rubber that's supposed to last super long.

The Marauder Task Force figures are 4" not 3.75" like o-ring.

For me, my obsession is to put a figure inside a vehicle, so I bought the 4" scale HALO Warthog cheap on Amazon when it was $15. Haven't really unboxed my HasLab Skystriker yet since no idea where to put it after assembled. After Top Gun Maverick, I'm itching to use the Failsafe co-pilot as Maverick or someone.
 
nothing that interesting to me for Sideshow black friday deals unfortunately. if i liked the mcu Spidey suits more i’d probably jump on one of those, but imma pass
 
Thinking about getting the G1 Soundwave reissue.
It comes with 2 casettes.
 
I know where my original Transformers cassettes are, but didn't have the urge to take them out, dust them off/saniwipe them. Possibly my favorite one was the yellow lion. Forget the Americanized name. Probably bought it from Japanese import store at the mall. It was nice to have a store that carried lots of toys from Japan. Now the next best thing is stores that carry Gunpla, Japanese trading cards, statues.

Ever consider buying 6" GI Joe Classified? Some are really well done, some can be bought new cheap. Stormshadow, redo Firefly, Retro Gung Ho, Tomax, Xamot, Crimson Guard, etc.

For 1/18 scale, also see Click N Play for F/A-18, but a review said some parts might break due to poor design.
 
Target is having massive sale on lego right now. Some are more than half off. Spent like $300 but will probably return some of the Harry Potter sets. I like HP but I noticed I don’t really build the sets. Mostly super heroes and architect sets for me.
