Social Toy Collectors Thread

I really dig it. Colors work well together imo and it's not something you see all the time.

I'm a fan of alternative color schemes in general. Really interested in this Sith Trooper if they release it to the public.

Oh dont worry they will.

By the way I ordered a second figure to our collection. Me and my wife got hooked on Doctor Who and I found out they make 1:6 Doctors. Waiting for delivery.

My first thoughts seeing that red Sith Stormtrooper was low polygon count PlayStation 1 graphics, and did they downsize all the good creative design people.

I recently saw pics where people opened the new Marvel Legends Beast and Juggernaut had the things fall apart around the torso as if not properly bonded. That Juggernaut Colossus two pack is not exactly cheap.

I bought the recent Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Alex Ross Iron Man and Captain America because those were the classic designs when I was a kid, but the colors for both are just too dark. Not bright like in the comics or cartoons. Is Alex Ross known for only using darker colors?

The Thor Alex Ross should be on its way before long.

I was initially thinking I want to buy the Colossus Juggernaut two pack, but the Colossus casting just doesn't look so good compared to the older Toy Biz (I think) Colossus or a Jim Lee Colossus.

Wow. Didn't know and not surprised that so many Jones fans collect toys.
As in Jon Jones?
Nope, don't lump me in with those individuals. I happen to be a toy collector who's anything but a Jones fan. He's actually my least favorite fighter.

Hey. I am trying to come up with my cosplay sith and I am putting together a Sith Killer Clown and this is the first step.

It lights up and sounds board but I am think about getting a extion for the hilt and maybe just using the head like a Lightsaber Warhammer.

But right now looks like a Darth Quinn weapon
Don't be giving Disney ideas about making some Sith clown part of official Star Wars canon.

I coming up with the idea that during the Order of 66 when the Sith were out there killing off Jedi left and right that there might have been a Sith that enjoyed his job a little too much and was just in love with being a Sith Serial Killer Clown. Its a bad ass idea but still working on the make up.

Can’t remember if I posted about the Dragonball figures my kids been getting lately.

The different series all come with a piece to make another figure which I see is a new rising trend.

One of the series you can build a broly with all the guys in the series.

Well we had about half of Broly and I went through hell getting the final two.

The Broly figure fully assembled is legit though.

I'm seeing from today's SDCC coverage there's a new Marvel Legends Jean Grey 3 pack with Wolverine and jacket Cyclops and the Jean face sculp is quite foxy. Wolverine has regular claw hands and bone claw hands. I almost want to buy this, but prefer John Byrne Phoenix era Cyclops and Wolverine with regular claws and fist hands.

They had a 80s 2 pack like that a while ago.

That looks like Godzilla in a fat suit.. whoever came up with the idea to make him look like that needs to be electrocuted to death.

I still have a mess of Transformers in my parents' basement.

If not mentioned already, the Netflix doc series "The Toys That Made Us" is a good watch. The YouTube channel "Toy Galaxy" is great for modern and high end stuff along with mini-docs about stuff from the 80s & 90s. If you ever thought about how "Bravestarr" or "Dino-Riders" was a neat concept and wondered how it failed they explain it for multiple toy lines.

What an awesome idea, that’s hilarious! Looks great
