Firefly (fat suit ruins it, we need pics without it , usually toys with vest look skinny without them).

Viper (something is off, can point what, for being one of my favorite figures Im not feeling it, maybe the way they redid the helmet)

In the Zartan contents pic, what's that triangular thing next to alternate hand? Looks like it plugs into something. [EDIT: From a higher res pic on Fwoosh, looks like wide open snake head and monkey paw to attach to backpack which seems to have really thin hinge like it's gonna break easily.]

Maybe the thing with Viper is the mutton chops. I'm gonna likely skip that.

So is Firefly Target exclusive again? Not really itching to hunt that due to the weird face and fatsuit. All the vests should be built to be removed without cutting.

Cobra Infantry just looks slightly less dark blue minus the long rifle and red rank armband and snake eyeballs goggles and with diff face print.

Would have been good if they addressed the pure shit Target exclusive delivery/distribution.

RE: Marvel, who is itching to buy a Stilt-Man or Jocasta? Those Hasbro guys seem disconnected from fans. Firestar's head and collar don't look right. Maybe they'll re-do Vintage Iceman to fix the color and the "crack" down his face.

Firefly and Viper are target exclusives.

The tweaks are messing some figures, I feel cobra troper worked with the modern design elements to make him look like a modern SWAT member, but they should have kept the Viper as it was, the mutton chops bug me even if the rest looks the same.

Only completist and people that are in to having every character from a subset (avengers villains, spider-man villains) , those are boring characters to me.

Seems like once again scalper bots wiped out GI Joe Classified Cobra Island (a.k.a. Scalper Paradise) Target exclusive Viper & Firefly in an instant. Good thing I knew better and pursued pre-orders elsewhere and executed. I think Cobra Infantry got sold out there. Amazon seems a bit more expensive than Walmart.

I was hoping the official 6" Firefly would look better than Fortnite Havoc, but didn't really happen. Hopefully mainline Firefly won't have the fatsuit and weird face.

Cobra Infantry has paint on the vest front pocket and upper thigh that Cobra Trooper doesn't.

Seems like Best Buy has Zartan and Cobra Infantry pre-orders now. Didn't have the previous Joes. No Viper or Firefly.

We've been cleaning out, getting rid of the kids old toys. Came across 5 Hess trucks, new in the box. I don't think there's a market for those, maybe we'll just donate them.

Also came across the old Rokenbok set. My son was big time into construction equipment when he was little. Rokenbok was awesome fun.

They were 80 bucks each. I like those things but that is too much.

Anyone got any Mystic Legion figs. I been looking for a cool Knight fig and found them. They kind of pricey but look decent and alot of details on the weapons and such.

The 4 horsemen were like the first(only) superstars of action figure sculpting, they started working with McFarlane and then went independant with their own studio were they have worked for mattel /super 7/ neca/toy biz.

The Mythic figures are very expensive because consumers are basically paying for all the development of the figure.

Looks like Retro Scarlett is the first of the Wave 2 to sell out pre-order.

Considering for Classified, they released two distinctly diff looking Roadblocks, I'm hoping for the non-exclusive Firefly, hopefully they use the Beach Head head and get rid of the bomb padding suit.

Yeah, original head looked better, they added the removing glove hands from the select figure.

The original figure didn't have a good face sculpt either, and they somehow managed to do worse with this one. And does the bare hand on the new one look huge to anyone else? Wtf? This is especially disappointing since the Rogue that was recently released with Pyro actually has some decent face sculpts, but it's a more modern version of her.

I guess I'll just have to wait for Mafex or Revoltech to make a decent Jim Lee era Rogue figure, at 4x the price

Some cool looking figures in this thread. Is toy collecting really common and/or popular? I've never heard of this before.

I'd rather not get into the habit of buying a figure with fugly head sculpt and hope to find some alternate or custom head for it.

Even the Spidey Retro Gwen/MJ heads look better than Rogue. The Sideshow Rogue had a super beautiful face and hair.

At Target, I saw Dragon Ball Evolve 5" SSJB Vegeta, super nice sculpt, side by side with SHF Kaioken Goku and seems to scale well together.

I don't think I've ever seen any G.I. Joe Classified ever at this particular Target. Never seen at Walmarts either.

I saw a youtube review of G.I. Joe Retro Wave 2 and looks like Roadblock's vest is built removable and has a green tank top underneath. Didn't see it vestless though. Better reviewers would have shown it without, side by side with other figures in same line or unrelated line.

The Roadblock and Destro look way better in proportions than fellow 3.75" Marvel Universe.
