i ordered another doll, from the last line of shadow high. ive wanted her for a long time now but never got around to it, but decided tonight that i may as well buy her now at $40 while shes still on the market, before she becomes double that (or more) second hand once they remove her, because then i'll never bother honestly.

anyways, her outfit is bangin! wish i had a coat half as cool.

That's cool.

The Wednesday Adams and Enid MH are discounted on UK Amazon currently and several other MH are around half price.

I'm trying not to look as I know I'll bite on something..

However I am at a Toy Fair this weekend and on the 6th I am at a Comic Con and Lego show ... I'm trying to keep my powder dry for those...

Thankfully it's payday Friday...

Get a spool of some thin fishing line. A spool will be more than you need for hanging your models. It's what I used to do as a kid.
Don't know much about fishing line, but fear plastic degrading over time and then the line breaks and injures someone.

Thinking about those mobiles hanging from the ceiling, maybe with multiple branches.

As long as its not in direct sunlight I think it should last as long as any other plastic. I hung model rockets on my wall as a kid for at least a decade without any problem. Sure, they're way lighter than an airplane model, but you can get high-strength braided fishing line for like $15 a spool.

EDIT: I just double checked and I've had small stained glass art pieces hanging in one of my windows for ~35 years on fishing line and they get about 6-8 hours of sun every day. I don't think you have to worry about breaking.

Hmmmmmmm.

Dunno if figures are your thing, @Anung Un Rama

Marvel Unlimited Annual Plus Marvel Legends figure seems to be some sort of Symbiote Spider-Woman where people think it's an old Polaris X-Factor head on old symbiote woman body.

A good figure I want would have given me an excuse to subscribe for a year even though I have too many streaming services right now to read comics online.

Dudes. These are rank-and-file bolter marines. I wasn't too precious painting these because I've still got...100 more on sprues and if I get the two box sets I'm looking at (birthday and christmas shall be the excuse) I'll have another ~70 on top of that (made up of Mk II, Mk III, Mk IV, and Mk VI armors with a wide variety of heavy and special weapons).

I'm sick of painting so the next project is to assemble the Imperial Knight models I've been putting off since last year; I finally figured out what scheme I wanted to use for the paint and the configurations to build them in. I usually stick to established lore when choosing factions, but after dozens of wiki articles I gave up on finding one that struck my fancy and am going home-brew. I might even try my hand to designing my own decal sheets (we'll see, that's a long way off yet).

Still looking awesome. I wish I had the talent and patience for that.

After a quiet August we end summer with a bang. Phase 1: I saw this first pic in an online ad.....

And I see all that TMNT and go OMG OMG OMG. So of course I drive to Hobart (about 25 mins away from my house) this AM to see if I can get some HAWT deals. Turned out only the stuff on the table was for sale and everything else (A LOT MORE than in the pic) was his TMNT man cave. I did talk him into selling me a Giant Raph as he had duplicates and I have yet to score one.

I did get to enjoy an hour of nerding out as I stared at his stuff. I actually have a few TMNT he doesn't yet him.

Pic 1: The Channel 6 van. A real grail.
Pic 2: Power Wheel Turtle Van!
Pic 3: TMNT bowling
Pic 4: TMNT chests.
I probably should have taken ALOT more pics. His walls were covered in carded and loose figs.

I’m drunk and just here to say I appreciate y’all toy collecting sherbros. We may have different tastes but the love is all the same.

Also I ordered another doll. I hate her outfit and will restyle her. But love the dark skin tone with the mix of dark hair with vibrant rainbow colors. Also ordered some shelves because I have more dolls than space right now.
